I talked to West Coast fencing about the stains on my fence and I must have presented it improperly. I had a fence installed on my property from West Coast fencing and I wanted to know if the fencing was different from different companies and they stated, I believe they said they are the same, I tried to explain my neighbors fence from a different company was not staining and it had been up longer. I wasn’t trying to complain I was just gathering information. The person I talked to just stopped talking to me and said he was done talking and all vinyl fences and houses stain. He became a little

After setting an appointment 6 weeks out to get an estimate and confirming the appointment a couple days before the sales rep calls me to change the appointment. I couldn't change the time because I work his response was "take this time or go some place else" GLADLY! He didn’t apologize for not being able to make the date and he didn’t offer a later date he just gave me the ultimatum in a nasty tone. Even when I called to make the appointment they were very unprofessional, this is what we have take it or leave it attitude. They could have cared less.

They did a great job installing my fence in April but it hasn’t passed inspection and they won’t come back to fix it. I have called and left messages for the owner. I talked to the owner a a month ago and he said he was busy, but it’s been 3 months now. I have been patient but this is ridiculous.

"BUYER BEWARE"....This company Doesn't even deserve a "1".....I decided to go with West Coast for my fence installation. I Received a free quote, 2 days later received the pricing. I was informed that the fence would not be available for installation for 3 months. So I decided to take that time to pay the fence off completely. I was given a specific date for installation. So, when that day arrived, there was no courtesy phone call the day before or the day of installation. I called the office myself and kept getting a response "We are behind, it MAY be the next day before anyone can get to you

I`m extremely dissatisfied with this company . The whole experience was aggravating . They had to return twice to correct shoddy workmanship . The biggest issue was the fact that my gate latch can not be locked with a padlock and swings open even with the lock in place . They also neglected to put sleeves in to accomodate the drop rods . I had been told that both of my gates would be secured with key locks . When I spoke to them and complained I was told that this was my problem and the only way to secure the gate was for me to drill holes in the posts and install a chain lock . The final insult

Our squirrel approves! We had West Coast put in our original fence in 1999. We just had them replace a section that was damaged in the wind storms last fall. Their price was the best I got from several companies, their workers arrived on the scheduled day and finished it that day. It is well secured and should hold up for another 20 years we hope!

I'm forced to write this review because of a very unfortunate conversation I had with Tom at West Coast Fence. The shared fence and two gates that West Coast installed for me and my neighbor was done in a timely and efficient manner. The workers were friendly and the end result was very satisfactory.
My single complaint, and the only reason I will never recommend this company, was my absolute horror over the outright rudeness of Tom (who I think is one of the bosses and possibly the owner). My issue was with one of the hinges on my gate. The spring retention pin couldn't be held in

I give this company Zero stars. I paid for a fence, however they did not use concrete to even stabilize the post that went to the gate. Now after just 2 weeks I cant even open the gate. Clearly concrete is at least needed to stabilize the gate and latch panels. Zero of the posts were concreted in. So I called the owner Tom and he said "go fix it yourself" and hung up on me. He actually said, 'it rained the other day, maybe it was the rain". Well any rain would not of mattered if the posts were concreted in. So when you see that the cost of West Coast Fence is less than

From the moment the old dude showed up he did nothing but belittle our requests, argue about how he couldn't do anything we needed, (We just wanted a simple quote for a fence) and was rude and condescending the whole time. He even managed to insult the other company we had give us a quote, all within about 5 minutes. When confronted about his terrible behavior he took off and didn't even try to apologize to make the quote happen.
Only call West Coast Fence if you want your time wasted

My family used this company for years but lately the customer service has gone to sh..... I called for service on a fence that was put up in 2017 that encloses my camper. I went to open the custom made gate and it literally fell apart. I called the company and the manager (Thomas) whom was very rude said that it would cost me $450 just to send someone out to look at the gate. The complete install cost of the job with two custom gates and fence in 2017 cost me less than $1000 so that seemed to be a little pricey to me. Thomas then became irate and told me either pay the money or to fu...fix it myself

I hired these guys without checking the online reviews first and I am glad I did.
From Frank who came out twice to discuss what we wanted and help prepare the initial estimates to Lindy in the office who gracefully handled last minute changes and answered all of my crazy questions and of course Steve who came out for the installation and did an excellent job, I can honestly say I am beyond satisfied and will defiantly use West Coast Fence again. I had even stopped by their office 3 or 4 times before the install with questions, changes and to drop of the deposit and EVERYONE there was pleasant,

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! It all starts with customer service, something this business lacks. In fact, Tom, adamantly boasts about their poor customer service and takes pride in it.
I scheduled installation about 2 months ago. On the day of installation I called them to verify it was still scheduled. This is the first issue, I had to call them to make sure the installation was still a go. Tom informed me that they had run behind on the previous days work but assured me they would be there as soon as they were done. I got home that night and NO work had even been started. I had a 6 foot wood privacy fence installed by West Coast less than 3 years ago. Since then, boards have warped and gate hinges have fallen out the 4x4 posts. They used cheap screws installing the latches, which have not worked smoothly since new.
We called about some repairs on said items and they told us there is a $300 minimum on any repairs. They know they sell a poor product and make the cost of repair prohibitive.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my interaction with West Coast.
From the start, there was a clear lack of communication. Following receipt of my quote from West Coast, I was concerned that the property in the southwest corner of my yard was not accounted for. As such, I immediately contacted the company to express my concerns and was told the changes would not be an issue and the charge for service would remain the same. In addition, I dropped off a copy of my survey which reflected my wishes. I paid a deposit and was told my fence would be installed on 9/9/16.
