With over twenty years of experience on many types of buildings and specialty structures, STS has the understanding and knowledge required to produce a quality structural design while also balancing costs and functionality. Our hands-on principal level approach enables us to meet unique challenges on every project in a timely and responsive fashion.

John Treybal has more than 17 years of structural engineering and project management experience. A native Vermonter, John received his BS in Civil Engineering from The University of Vermont and since that time has worked in the state on a broad range of projects. John's responsibilities include all aspects of management, engineering design, and production.
Katherine Hill has over 20 years of experience in structural engineering design and project management. A native Vermonter, Katie spent the first half of her career based in New York City working for Leslie E. Robertson Associates and Buro Happold, two engineering firms of international renown. Her experience there focused on large-scale commercial projects located across the US and around the world.
STS is growing! We have an immediate opening for a structural engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience. Hands-on experience with Revit Structural software (BIM) is strongly preferred. We will be looking for candidates with a professional engineering license or on track to become licensed in the near future.
