Thomas Edison opened his lab in Menlo Park, NJ, in 1876 to explore electrical devices. In 1879, Edison filed the patent for "an electric lamp with carbon filament, " and by 1890 he established the Edison General Electric Company. In 1892, Edison combined his company with the Thomson-Houston Company to form the General Electric Company.

Unpredictable Work Schedules made it a tough job but it paid well. Most of the managers are terrible and company keeps it field techs uninformed.

I worked here for several months never I was on time always perform never writing up. on the other some of the co workers called in was never at worked and did not even perform their duties, some employees came in a 10 or 11 am the manager Jason who was in charge never reprimand them. I was always on time did not miss days worked as I was told . The manager JASON end my assignment because I use the bathroom on another floor which I thought was a public place . I was not the only employee that use that floor I said may because of my race, I was never informed what bathroom to use. Because I had
