Craig A. Haas has been performing General Home Inspections since 2002. He has taken and passed the National Home Inspectors Exam and the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics exam for entrance into ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors). Craig has been an ASHI Certified Inspector since 2002 (Member number 211256) and is a State of Ohio Licensed Home Inspector.
Mark's Home Inspection can perform a General Home Inspection on a new construction home, an older home, a condominium or townhouse, or a multi-family residence. We are also able to perform pre-listing inspections for sellers, which helps to avoid any surprises during a traditionally timed inspection, after a buyer's offer has been accepted.
We will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm your Inspection and to answer any questions that you might have. Contracts are, however, a part of doing busines. I have used Craig Haas twice due to his attention to detail. The first time I used him I liked that fact that he is also an architect and well aware of all the facets of a home- structural and cosmetic. He highlighted items that stood out and needed to be fixed in my first home. He went into scary small crawl spaces and attic spaces to check everything. He makes detailed photos and notes and makes suggestions for improvements and how to do it and provides a list of contractors that he trusts. Craig helped me out with a very last minute inspection. I had reached out Monday night with an attempt to schedule something for the next day. I used the online scheduling form and received a call back from Craig within the hour. On the day of the inspection, he was at the property early and had already begun looking over the outside, which I appreciate. Craig was extremely professional throughout the entire proceedings and he took the time to answer all of my questions as he worked. Craig from Mark‘s Home Inspection was very responsive and scheduling the inspection date was surprisingly easy.
He did an extremely thorough job: it may not be a pleasant task to read through all the issues of your supposedly dream home, but ignoring the truth will hurt even more.
The house was sold only a year ago and the old inspection report of the previous owner revealed only a few of all the little details that Craig noted. Really impressive. I have no doubts that he would have found any red flags or hidden issues.

As a first-time home buyer, Craig (President) helped to put my mind at ease. He was thorough and meticulous, and he explained every finding of note in detailed yet understandable terms. He made sure to not just point out problems with our house, but to also provide possible solutions and/or strategies to reach those solutions. Craig is an EXCELENT home inspector! He was recommended to us recently for our most recent home purchase, and we couldn’t be happier with the service he provided. Craig was able to schedule an appointment to inspect the house we intend to buy almost immediately. He responded to my inquiry the same day and was flexible with our availability. His inspection was thorough and fairly priced. We had our report to us the same day. I was able to call him after I reviewed the report and he explained things in a way I could understand and provided me with recommendations for an additional inspector I needed.
