Five stars for outstanding service from initial contact through booking to delivery and set-up. The entire team was professional, courteous, helpful, thoughtful, highly responsive. Half a star for the food which was pedestrian and lacking in imagination.

SE did a wonderful job on our event! Planning is difficult these days, and they were very easy to communicate with as we worked out an outside dinner for 50 people during the changing safety rules. The set up was beautiful and the food was delicious. We will definitely use them again!

I have used Simple Elegance several times now and have been pleased every time. They are easy to communicate with and work with to tweak a menu to fit your occasion. The food is always good, delicious and on time. Servers, and bartenders do a great job and they packed up all of the leftovers, left some foam trays for our guests to make a to-go container and left my kitchen and bar area clean! I worked with Traci to organize a backyard post wedding party for my daughter and son in law who had a small destination wedding in Hawaii. We chose the Hawaiian menu and linen colors to reflect a Hawaiian theme. Traci came to my house to evaluate the venue and had many ideas on how to pull off a great event, from flowers to table arrangements. Simple Elegance Catering deserve five stars because they made my party so wonderful! On 7/27, Saturday, I had a BBQ party at my house with 45 guests. It's a party for all my family members to meet my first grandson. The catering team arrived on time at my house. They prepared and set up everything so nicely in the backyard of my house. Traci and here very capable staff helped us celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. They were a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. Traci was extremely easy to work with during the planning stages; offering many delicious options for our party of 50; matching linen colors; and even showing up at a pre-meeting at our venue to make sure she knew the lay of the land. We had a fabulous experience with this company at our fundraiser this last weekend. They were extremely reasonable in price, had very competent and pleasant servers, provided plenty of delicious food which thrilled all our guests and cleaned up quickly, even taking trash away for us.
And they had the challenge of a private home with difficult access down a narrow single car width driveway, while guests were coming to and going from the venue on foot. The servers took it in stride and made it work without inconveniencing our guests, even provisioning the buffet from the garage where they accomplished

Simple elegance provided food for our community Thanksgiving meal. Not only were they fantastic to work with (and they worked on Thanksgiving for us!), but the food was amazing! They were very sweet and accommodating, on time, and generous with portions! Simple Elegance catered our small work meeting, for 10 people. I was worried since it was such a small, 'simple' request, it wouldn't impress the team. THANK YOU FOR PROVING ME WRONG! They are appropriately named, "Simple Elegance." They truly made our spread look elegant. The food was really yummy and the service, before, during and after was fantastic.

Simple Elegance catered my wedding on 9-22-18.The food was AMAZING. I got tons of compliments from my guests. They were full service and only had about 3 hours to set up my whole venue and did a great job. I am very happy with their service and would definitely highly recommend them and have them cater any event I may have in the future.

The day came and as expected 55 (5 less than planned) of our friends and family attended.

All was going well until we realized there was not enough food! 10 guests did not get food! Which means we had food for 45 and we planned for 60

We had our 10th wedding anniversary party and couldn't prepare the food ourselves as we recently moved into a home whose kitchen is about 60 yrs old and not terribly functional... We were absolutely thrilled with the service and food that Simple Elegance provided. They proposed a menu that met our need for variety (we went with lots of small plate/finger food), arrived extra early, and ran a smooth operation the whole evening. We also had the team staff an outdoor bar... our guests loved the food and the service. The team was so gracious, professional, and charming as well. Thank you.

We recently worked with Simple Elegance for a wedding reception and their full service catering was truly full service. Aside from having great food and great service their attention to detail is what separates them from other caterers.

We used them for our second time (kid's communion lunch) this past weekend. Food was great again, unfortunately they forgot to pick up the dishes this time. Our contract says pick up would be at 3PM last Saturday (day of the event), it's Tuesday, 8 PM now.
We were at work during the day Monday and Tuesday, and my parents, who flew in for the communion, waited all day both days for them to pick up. It was a waste of two full vacation days for them. I called the company after I got home from work today around 3; they apologized, said they forgot and they would pick up tomorrow.

We have just used this company for my husband and my 60th birthday party. We had a pre-tasting for the appetizers and mains which was good to do! The food was excellent and the tri-tip was delicious on the night and the next evening for leftovers! We also had chicken piccata, potatoes and vegetables and salad. I have worked with Traci in the past when she was at Ruggies in San Ramon, when the catering (Simple Elegance) worked out of the back of the restaurant. We always received the best service from her with yummy sandwiches and salads, ready to go when I picked up. They have moved and now we will use their delivery service. Recently I was pressed for time and needed to order lunch for the office. Traci had accomplished the feat of getting us lunch for our office lickity split. I owe her! This is hands down the best catering company I have worked with. I found them a few months ago when I needed help supplying a friend and her family dinners throughout her cancer treatment. Although it was a request out of the ordinary, when this team heard why I was providing these dinners and the special instructions necessary to make this work, they didn't hesitate. Traci and Chef Dave helped create a magical experience for my wife and I's 30th anniversary of our first date. The food was superb, with the filet and salmon cooked perfectly and served at just the right time. The way Traci talked with me about the event to the way she gave me a systematic way in which to achieve what I was looking for made for a helpful way in making the night a success. I found this awesome company last year when I was looking to do a catered work event at a Danville residence. I worked with Cassy back then and recently hired them again to do another work event because we were so impressed by their service and their food! Everyone last year raved about the food, especially the chicken skewers, and I knew I had to use them again!
