Located within the gorgeous and historic Faber House Mansion downtown, Verte Skincare is a space that is meant to feel inviting and tranquil as you experience a concoction of bliss. It is an elegant Southern space infused with nature, art, a dash of Parisian style, and a lot of love! It is a place intended for time to stand still as I am of service to you.
Facials at Verte Skincare are highly customized. Each begins with a skin analysis then moves into elements of the treatment including cleansing, manual or automatic exfoliation, extractions (if needed), massage of the face, neck & dcollet, hydration applied to the hands & arms, and conclude with application of skincare products chosen for your skin type.
We understand that unplanned situations may arise and you may need to cancel an appointment. If that happens, we respectfully ask for scheduled appointments to be canceled at least 48 hours in advance. We want to be available for your needs and the needs of other clients.
Appointments canceled within 48 hours, for any reason, will be charged the full amount of the appointment which was originally booked using the card provided at the time of booking.This includes not appearing for the appointment for any reason. Please note that gift certificates and "package" services (previously paid for) are included in this policy and handled in the same manner.

Although I had nearly forgotten that part of myself, about 12 years ago a dear friend asked "is there anything you used to do that you loved but haven't in a while?" My one word reply: "art". I hadn't picked up so much as a pencil in decades! About a week later, that same friend surprised me with a trip to a local art supply shop and I was overwhelmed by the scents of paints & papers as I stood in the doorway.
In her book titled "this is no ordinary joy", Her Future Coalition's founder, Sarah Symons, references an ancient & inspiring story. It is the story of a squirrel wanting to be helpful in the building of a bridge. As small as the squirrel was in size, she dipped herself in water, rolled in the sand & shook it off at the site, contributing to its building.

Tara is by far one of the most talented skin care specialists I have ever known.I walk away from every appointment I have with her with wonderfully glowing skin.
