Because of our small practice, we can offer personal attention and specialized services to meet the unique needs of our clients. Our aims in neuropsychological evaluations, psychological evaluations, and educational assessments are to answer the questions and concerns of each individual and communicate our findings to facilitate communication with family members, schools, places of employment, doctors, or other professionals.

We are an interdisciplinary group of independent providers with a wide range of expertise in neuropsychological and educational issues. Dr. Cheryl Ambler is a licensed psychologist specializing in pediatric and adult neuropsychology. Her interests include developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, brain tumor, neuropsychological sequelae of medical disorders, and neurocognitive impairments.
Neuropsychology is a subspecialty of clinical psychology that specializes in the diagnostic assessment and treatment of individuals with disorders related to cognitive, academic, learning, social, emotional, or other developmental issues.
What distinguishes a clinical neuropsychologist from other clinical psychologists is an extensive knowledge of the brain-behavior relationship, including an understanding of areas such as: neurocognitive functioning, neuroanatomy, neurological illness or injury, neurodevelopment, the use of neuropsychological tests to accurately assess cognitive deficits, emotional disorders, behavioral disturbances, and the management/treatment of brain injured or neurocognitively impaired individuals.

Dr. Nancy Sullivan is a licensed psychologist specializing in pediatric and young adult neuropsychology. She has interests in multidisciplinary team assessments, learning disabilities, and developmental disabilities, as well as integrating speech/language, occupational therapy, and education assessment with neuropsychology.
