I really don't understand what everyone is complaining about. I've been seeing Dr. Pickup for years, and she is rated as one of the best dermatologists in the city for many years now. I never feel rushed. She does my full body exam (fair skin with lots of sunburns in the remote past), takes off my precancers and occasional keratoses. Once in a while I get a little bit of filler. While it's "preventative," it's still seeing a specialist and you must pay up. Whenever any kind of "cutting" is done, that's SURGERY. There are few dermatologists around, especially superb dermatologists - that's why there

Patients beware! After several years of exams and successfully removing very mild keratoses by freezing, I had my annual exam 2 weeks ago. Meg Jez, P.A., recommended a topical treatment, Fluorouracil, to address keratoses spots instead of freezing as in previous years. When asked about the pros and cons of this new (to me) treatment, she said there are lots of pros. Well, the past 2 weeks have been an absolute living hell. She failed to warn me of common side effects of extreme burning of my skin in areas that were not even treated with the topical cream. After only half the prescribed treatment

I had been searching for a great dermatologist and a great office, and I've found it. A couple friends recommended Dr. Pickup. Scheduling has been simple enough, I haven't had to wait more than 10 minutes to be taken back. Sometimes I do wait a while once I am in the room but I know this is because Dr. Pickup takes her time with each patient. I have had two melanomas - one years ago found by the first dermatologist I had and one that Dr. Pickup caught when I went in for my first visit. She is very knowldgeable and thorough. I appreciate that they take pictures of moles to keep an eye on them -

I recently had a new patient appointment with Tara Lair, PA, and have to say I will be finding another dermatologist for my year follow up. From the time she walked in , I felt rushed and felt like my concerns were not answered. She didn't even touch me to check certain areas I had concerns over and she stood back with some kind of light and just shined it over my entire body from head to toe and just kept saying the same thing over and over. It took me longer to disrobe and redress than the time she spent with me. I felt that I did not get a good evaluation at all and again no quality time spent

I visited a few weeks ago for a body scan. It's a totally preventative visit, and is actually advertised as a "free service" at any other visit to the office.
PA Jez was great. She explained things well and was professional. I was asked to follow up in 3 months to check on a few moles.
I will not be back. I was forced to pay my $40 specialist co-pay and the visit was billed as an office visit - not preventative. I was told by Tracy they do NOT bill anything preventative. I found the Dermatologist at Good Samaritan right next door will. I'll take my business there, I'll post a poor review here

While my daughter and I both really like Dr. Panch, we have had scheduling issues two different times at the Anderson office. Her appt card will have a date and time on it and then when we show up they have her scheduled in the computer for a different date. It is very frustrating since she has to take off work for these appointments. The first time they refused to see her and made her reschedule for a month later. Thankfully the second time they begrudgingly fit her in.

I called as a new patient to make an appointment with one of the doctors, for an annual cancer check. They were able to make an appointment with me for approximately two months out for the earliest. Not great, but oh well. However, when they sent me the paperwork to fill out, they had the name of the person I was to be seeing. Turns out it was not a physician, but rather a Physician's Assistant. At no time did the person taking my call advise me that they were scheduling me with a PA and not an MD. Only by their circling the name of the person, and my recognizing the initials after their name,
