She has lived in the area for over 20 years, and practiced dermatology in Northern Kentucky for 20 years. Dr. Long received her medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Missouri and completed both Internal Medicine and Dermatology residencies at Vanderbilt University.

The garage elevator takes you to the Plaza level, turn R and we are the last space on the R before the Skywalk. Handicap parking is available. We have a special arrangement with the garage, where if FULL, you may buzz the attendant to assist you in finding a parking spot. Fountain Square Garage parking is available at both 416 Vine near the Westin and 520 Vine which is closer.
Salicyolic peels are great to even out red areas left from acne and to help regulate oil production. Medium Depth Peels - are a more aggressive treatment which goes deeper into the dermis to help with mild scarring, hyperpigmentation photodamage and unwanted lines. Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and Jessners are used in combination in various strengths tailored to your skin type.
Dr. Long has an excellent aesthetic and knows exactly what to do to make me look naturally fabulous. She errs on the side of caution, honestly advising when I do not need a particular treatment. She and her staff are caring, warm and expert. I could not recommend her and her practice any more highly.

I have trusted Dr. Long with my dermatological needs for over 20 years. She has seen me through my several bouts of basal carcinoma and taken care of pre-cancerous growths on my face. Her knowledge, support, and guidance are unmatched in her field. Her approach is singular and not one treatment fits all. I have extremely fair and sensitive skin, and she always has suggestions and advice on how to take the best care of not only my face, but my overall skincare. Nonetheless, the unconcerned indifference and attitude demeanor of the office staff stood out so bleakly I feel compelled to post to save anyone time from engaging with this business.
First, the office is not easy to locate nor navigate the parking as a non-downtown resident.
So, it's 17 degrees, snowy, and I am 7 months pregnant. I parked at the Fountain Square Garage per the instructions of the hand drawn map on the website.

I had the almost exact same experience as Marie S. wrote on here back in 2016, which appears to be hidden on this page. Like Marie wrote, I showed up to my appointment only to find out that Dr. Long was out of the country for some sort of "training", which now that I am reading Marie's review was most likely a vacation as well. The appointment was canceled and yet no one had attempted to contact me. I asked why I was not contacted and the woman at the staff who has been incredibly rude the entire time I have been coming here told me they tried to call me and couldn't reach me. Come to find out

Dr Long is fantastic! Her staff is always kind, helpful, and professional. I've been seeing her for over 5 years now. She's incredibly detailed and thorough (measures everything and records it to note changes, but doesn't immediately start cutting which I appreciate). I've worked with MANY dermatologist over the years and she and her staff are by far the best. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I've moved and its worth it to drive in for appointments.

I have been going to Dr. Long for the past three years. The staff is very friendly and the wait time is usually minimal...I can be in for a skin check or spot removal on a lunch hour and have time to spare. Dr. Long also really takes her time to look you over and address any concerns. I've been very happy so far with the care I have received at City Dermatology.

Yes, the front desk staff was perfunctory, but Dr. Long was thorough. I felt she answered all my questions and concerns. Her nurse was also thorough. I appreciated the professionalism and will go back. I have been looking for a good dermatologist for a few years. This one took her time with me, explaining to me each step. What the Dr. didn't cover, the nurse did.
