Liberty Christian Church Early Education Center located in Liberty, Missouri has been serving children and their families in the community for over 40 years. Our center was the first child care center to open in the Liberty area. Services
Our trained early childhood educators, with over 77 combined years of experience at our center, working together with parents, offer a program of activities designed to facilitate the physical, cognitive, and social development of children two through five years of age. Our teachers are facilitators in a learning environment.
We believe in developmentally appropriate practice, which means simply that educators need to think first about the developmental needs of the child and then create an environment. The environment is prepared in such a way that as your child interacts within it, he or she is prompted toward sensory experiences, experimentation, and arrival at conceptual conclusions.
This local outreach was a response to the need of working parents for a dependable, well-planned program of care and early education with a Christian influence for children. The Early Education Center became a reality with donations from individuals and groups within the church together with assistance from the community, which welcomed the first church-sponsored child care center in Liberty.
Our teachers recognize that young children are active learners. The curriculum engages children actively in the learning process, provides a variety of developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and encourages children to pursue their own interests. The teachers are experienced in working with children.
The Liberty Christian Church Early Education Center uses The Creative Curriculum for Preschool as its foundation. This comprehensive, scientifically-based early childhood curriculum is based on widely accepted research and theories of child development and learning. The Creative Curriculum provides an environmental framework that focuses planning around indoor and outdoor interest areas.

Our daughter has gone to the LCCEEC for almost two years and we couldn't be happier. The teachers take time to get to know the kids and structure the lessons to their interests and needs instead of following a canned curriculum. They do a fabulous job of keeping a portfolio of her work and have conferences to update us on her specific needs. More than anything, I know they love our daughter and she loves them.

I cannot say enough good things about this school. It is a school, not daycare, and my children entered Kindergarten miles ahead of their stay-at-home counterparts. Some of the teachers have been there for twenty-years and they still remember every child that came through their doors. I cannot count the number of times my son has asked to go back and 'visit' his teachers. The staff is extraordinary and really go the extra mile.
