My name is Marc Cohen and I was born here in Baltimore. I attended the University of Maryland and graduated with a BS in zoology and science education. Animals have always been my first love. Upon graduation I taught life science at the Jemicey School in Owings mills. I left Jemicey to start a business called Safari Party.
For nearly 14 years I brought live exotic animals to schools and birthday parties. Although it was a great concept and kids loved it, it was not the best way to make a living. My animal background has given me a unique insight into how pest species behave and therefore do a better job of sizing up a pest problem then other exterminators.

Marc arrived promptly as promised. He was quick efficient, and very competent. He was very knowledgeable about bats, including their behavior patterns and solutions to the problem. I saw a recent uptick of rats in my yard so I called At Once Termite and Pest Control in the morning as I was getting nervous about my neighbors noticing. Marc and Jason were able to respond the same day, despite their busy schedule, at approximately 4:45pm right after a thunderstorm went through.
They installed a rat bait box, applied ditrac tracking powder to all boroughs in the backyard and used a rodent smoke bomb. Both Marc and Jason were very friendly and eager to answer any questions.

Marc came out the day after I called concerned about 2 wasp-like critters I found in my toddler's room. I was concerned there may be a nest in the attic as she has an access via her closet to the attic. Marc and his assistant thoroughly searched our attic and found no evidence, and upon figuring out through pictures which type of insect it was (mud dauber), he left without charging me for the inspection and left me also with peace of mind as they are not aggressive. I'll keep an eye out to see if I can spot them coming in, but my mind is at ease, now.

I used At Once company last year. I found big holes in my back yard and the tunnels were right next to the house. Marc and his team were very fast to diagnose and apply protective fence. I regret calling this company.
They charged me $550 for putting out a few mice traps in the attic and sealing a couple of cracks. No guarantee on the work done, no second visit.
After their guy left, my ceiling fan stopped working. The owner came, checked the attic, denied any wrongdoing and recommended his friend, an electrician, who could come and check it and he would take responsibility if that was the electrician's conclusion. When talking with his friend over the phone, he already told him that it was not his company's fault.

Dan, Marc, Alex, and Shelley were all really nice and thorough during the 2-day project at our home. We had rodents in our crawl space and attic and they did exclusion all along the perimeter and took care of the rodents we had inside. Their 3-year warranty and excellent customer service is what made us decide to go with them and we're glad we did. One of the things I really appreciated is that they didn't oversell. They kept things real and didn't use scare tactics like Terminx. Fingers crossed we won't have to use the warranty but it gives nice peace of mind. Thank you!

We have been extremely pleased with At Once Pest Control and have used them at our primary residence as well as rental property on several occasions. We used to have a contract with a national exterminator; however, grew sick of their up-charges for the many items 'not covered.'
At Once Pest Control is a local business - when you call, you speak directly to Mark, the owner. He was able to come to our house quickly to assess the situation and gave a very fair and reasonable quote. At Once Pest Control was exactly what I was looking for. We have experienced a landlord's nightmare: bedbugs. Mark Cohen (owner) was quick to respond. The heat treatment he recommended did the job! I had used other companies that used chemical treatments only and the bed bugs were still alive and well after 1 1/2 years of treatment!!! And the bugs had spread to 4 apartments.
At Once Pest Control treated with heat and chemicals. After 2 years we are still bed bug FREE!!!

I have used Mark since 2007 for several different issues. I did a rehab in 2007 and the house had horrible roaches. There were actually roaches in the refrigerator. That is how horrible the conditions where. Thanks to Mark problem hard work the was solved.
I also have a rowhouse with a garden area close to a commercial area. Rats really like nesting in the garden. I keep a contract with At Once for controlling this situation. They come out a couple of times a year when the rats are active. I found this to be the most effective method to keep the garden / patio useable all year without rat interfaces

I had four very active, very noisy squirrels nesting in my ceiling that were driving me up a wall. Facing the fact that it was either me or them, the Love of My Life called At Once to see if they could help.
They were, indeed, the Chuck Norris of pest control. Those little rodents were trapped as neat as you please. Three of them were removed swiftly, while the fourth unfortunately froze itself to death in the trap during the last snow/ice event. I was perfectly content to let it remain in the trap and disintegrate, just like in Renaissance England with the heads on pikes. Sort of a grisly
