In 1956 Charles Larrick and his father, Estel, started Larrick's Tube Testing Company selling TV tubes and batteries. After Estel's death in 1966, Charles added radios to the lineup and, in late 1970, purchased the Mackoil building we now call home. In the years that followed, Larrick's became a Panasonic distributor, won awards for being #1 in the USA for microwave sales, and #1 in the world for car stereo sales!
In 1986 Larrick's switched gears and began selling new and used office furniture. We became a distributor of Global, DMI, Deflecto, and many other lines. In October of 2019, Charles passed away from complications of prostate cancer. One year later, his wife Dorothy retired and the South Dixie location was permanently closed.
