First I want to say the food wasn't FANTASTIC but for the price of lunch plates it was good! If you want cheap good eats this is the place to go, BUT take it as a to go order....we were rushed to make a decision for food she asked the moment we sat down, We said we would need a few minutes she sat there and when I ignored her she paced back and forth at our table! I went to the restroom where I got this God awful smell of either a grease trap that badly needed cleaning or raw sewage 🤮🤢 not very pleasant, I'm glad I could not smell it by my table! The food as I said was good nothing special

We were pleasantly surprised by how high quality all of the food was at Marco Polo. Haven't eaten here since I was a kid and everything was great. It wasn't busy when we went between dinner and lunch hours. I heard theh got a new kitchen from the guy t the tire shop up the street, he said he liked it there too!

Went in July with a friend. It was pouring out & 5 pm on a Saturday & the wait for a table at nearby Papagolous was too long so we settled on Marco Polo. I got General Tso's chicken which was good but the guy waiting on us was constantly pressuring us to finish up & leave & the place was half empty. We would have likely gotten a drink or a desert but this guy was circling our table with the check halfway through our dinner it was so obnoxious & I hope he enjoyed his no tip table.

Old, tired decor. Dingy and sticky. Sat us next to the kitchen door. Food was plentiful but barely 2-start "meh". We were sitting next to the kitchen and we could hear them microwave our order to heat things up. We gave it several visits hoping they were having an off night. The food just isn't worth it. The drinks were pretty good!

If you choose take out, please be careful as there's a good chance that some of what was ordered will not arrive. They tend to have a bad record in this area. Their food is pretty good, but with an average wait of an hour for delivery, it's never great to receive your order and find several items missing. Only to have the dilemma of whether to call and wait for missing items or just accept they messed up.

Restaurant doesn't do much to merit many stars of favorable comments. I went there yesterday (11/15) for lunch. Very few customers in the place and the reasons for this soon became clear: little (if any) heat in the place on a day where the temperature hovered in the low to mid-twenties. "Uncomfortable" perhaps best describes the temperature and the overall atmosphere.
The food delivered to the table did little to make me feel I'd made the right choice. The fried rice portion of the dish and the egg roll were definitely on the cold side at the time the dish was placed on the

So we come here usually for house fried rice and a pu pu platter. Tonight we switched up for a Marco Polo trio chicken shrimp and pork batter fried and served in a sauce. It was very good. Batter was light and not greasy at all. Sauce was nice. Service was great. Come here a few times and they know you. All

Food is good. Decor needs updating badly. Price is fantastic. However, we will not be coming back as the service was below par for us. Specifically, the table behind us had their leftovers boxed up for them. We had to box our own??? I thought the waitress was busy but then she boxed up leftovers for the table in front of us as well. Shame, there's not a lot of comes establishments locally.

Just had dinner here and sadly it is not the American Chinese we are used too
I Had general Tso tofu normally it's sauce broccoli and tofu this is a staple of American Chinese restaurants however here it is not on the menu
This one also had peas in it a mild issue but still an oddity to say the least the sauce was a bit too thick a bit along the lines of molasses however the flavor was good
My wife had vegetarian Singapore noodles and that did not list the crushed red peppers which was overdone in the dish
The staff was quick and assistive and keep up on cleaning
However that does not

Unsure how Marco Polo has slipped in the rankings, because it's far and away the best Chinese in the greater Keene area (and further). We've been going for 15+ years now, and it remains superb. I rarely go now outside of the holidays, when it's become a tradition to get take-out from them one night. This year was no exception, and quickly reminded me why other Chinese spots fail to match up. Teriyaki beef is flavorful, crab rangoons are tasty and crisp, and egg rolls are always good. I've never had better pork fried rice, it's perfectly well done here. Other standouts:

Looking at the outside decor, I was really afraid to try this place when I first moved to town, but everyone assured me they were top notch
Never judge a book by its cover! I have never had fresher veggie stir fry from a Chinese takeout than at Marco Polo. The apps are delicious, and not all the same tan color you would expect. Good, flavorful food!

Very disappointed. Arrived for a late lunch to a frigid 50 degree dining room with no other customers around. The lunch took over 25 minutes to arrive, and the ribs, and dishes were average at best. Another thing I was not pleased with was paying $2.50 for a soda, and no free refills... With salty, genuine flavor deprived food soft drinks seem like they should not be at a huge premium.
Next time I would stick with Cherry Garden (EXCELLENT) or King Garden which has my favorite chinese food in the area but not accommodations.
