Michael J. Sands and Aaron C. Wegner are graduates of Creighton University School of Law. Prior to starting their own practice, they each practiced in a private setting as well as serving as in-house counsel for an Omaha-based Fortune 500 company. Clients of Husker Law benefit from our lawyers' unique backgrounds and diverse legal experience.
Memorials are suggested to the Wegner Children Education Fund. Upon graduating from the University of Nebraska, Aaron attended law school at Creighton University where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2007. While attending Creighton, Aaron worked for law firms in Omaha and Kansas City specializing in commercial litigation, insurance defense, and aviation law.
Upon completion from undergraduate school, Ryan attended Creighton University School of Law. During law school, Ryan interned for the Honorable Joseph F. Bataillon of the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska for two consecutive summers. He also served as President of the Black Law Students Association in his last year of law school.

After retaining Husker Law, they fail to complete my legal issue. They were unresponsive via phone calls, and emails. I had to retain other legal counsel. I would never recommend them. Mike Sands was the lawyer assigned to my case. Very unprofessional experience!

Mike Sands is the one you need to talk to! He went the extra mile for me in many different ways. He helped me out tremendously when my lawyer decided he wanted to drop me and my case so I was left in the weeds. I should have trusted my gut the first time I talked to him on the phone and use him exclusively for my representation. Instead I chose a route that ultimately ended up going sour because I didn’t want to spend more money. Let’s hope there is not a next time scenario but if I ever need to be represented Mike Sands is the man!

My only highlight with the whole experiance starting in 2016 was 3 weeks ago. Keith was a huge help and this nightmare experiance is over and I thank him very much. All I can say is if you use any attorney make sure the job youre paying for is done correctly at the time of the paid service, not 5 years later and with one issue that is irreparably damaged.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. They are the most un-organized place I have ever been. Aaron was a terrible Lawyer, would tell me one thing and then tell my ex another. they were so quick to take our money. We paid for 2 things and divorce and a QRDO after the divorce we asked about the QRDO and Aaron said " well I cant do that until you pay" we did pay 3 months ago we told him. after finding proof of the check he finally got that part done. After that got done they said we should get the pay out within 3 month, after 3 month didn't hear nothing my work heard nothing same with my

When I was searching for an attorney I was looking for a firm that could practice in both Nebraska and Iowa. I paid my retainer with Husker law and I got absolutely nowhere with them except them making phone calls with them not having any more of a clue what to do. I would never recommend anyone I wasted $2000 with them and months of my time. I finally found an attorney in Iowa that only charged me $1000 and I had my situation resolved in a matter of weeks!!!

Michael Sands was amazing to work with. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and professional. He answered every question I had and was very easy to communicate with. Everyone at Husker Law I encountered was friendly and helpful. I am very pleased with the service and outcome I received. I purchased an 80 thousand dollar piece of equipment from a company. Without going into further detail, I struggled with the company for 6 months to make right on a trade in. After contacting Aaron at Husker Law, my issues were cleared up on 2 weeks.
Aaron was very thorough and very easy to work with.
I never waited on return phone calls from him and everyone at his office was very pleasant.
