Very disappointed, I went in to get my fork seal replaced on my GS road it home, went out to my bike this morning to find the clamp screws for the front axle were never tightened. It's been sitting in my garage ever since I road it home from their shop. I could have been killed. Thank god I noticed. For the price they charge, they should be double checking everything... especially something that could kill me...

Worst customer service experience ever. Upon entrance there was not one single person interested or remotely available to answer questions about the items in the store. My mother and I stood in a line, in hopes of talking to someone who would help us, we waited there for a while, but since there was no signs, movement or indication that we were in the right place, we stepped away for a second. After weeks of searching for a pre-owned KTM Duke 390, I found one at San Diego BMW Motorcycles for an incredible price. I live up in OC but for the price, was worth driving down there to at least take a look. I called and spoke to Hung Nguyen and even though this was a trade-in and they were just covering their costs, he was the most friendly and honest sales person I've met in my searches to date. Update: One week after I bought the bike, the tire pressure sensor batteries started to die, resulting in a caution light on the dash. These batteries were 11 years old, so they had a good run. Being as I had just bought the bike, Home at BMW SD offered to replace the sensors for me for (their) cost of parts, free labor. Unfortunately the OEM sensors are over $200 each. Home found a compatible KTM sensor at half that price so my cost to replace both sensors was $200. This is normally close to an $800 service if paying full price at a BMW dealership. After a bad experience at another BMW shop, I went to San Diego BMW Motorcycles and met with Alberto and Home. They were great. They were open and fair on my trade-in. And they gave a good deal on my new 1000 XR. Also, Troy, in the service department, called me back to discuss my needs for a top case and radiator guard. This review is a long time coming and it truly pains me to have to write this...I purchased a 2015 BMW S1000RR back in 2015 and rode it for 3 years before selling it. During my entire ownership experience, I took it into the San Diego BMW Motorcycles service department exclusively multiple times for service, recalls, and install aftermarket parts on the bike. Last year I purchased a 2015 R1200GS and have absolutely been loving the bike. I am on an overland Moro trip from Seattle to Chile. I went down hard around the salton sea and needed repairs. When I got to the dealer I was looking at 3-4 days to get my parts. This means I was going to spend as much money waiting at a hotel as the cost of the parts. The guys there took mercy on me and robbed them from a demo. Vic, and Ski took awesome care of me. Can’t say enough good about those guys. The service manager whose name I do not remember was also instrumental in getting me back to my adventure. Made it to La Paz guys, much thanks! I purchased a used bike over the phone and had an excellent experience. I worked with Hung, the sales manager, and he was great throughout. He personally inspected the bike for me - being "my eyes" since I was not there to do so myself, sent me HD pics of the few small marks he noticed, communicated thoroughly and promptly throughout the transaction, and sent me pics and a notification when my shipper arrived to pick up the bike. A top notch experience throughout. And the dealership fees were very reasonable. I highly recommend this shop.

I had a positive experience buying a motorcycle here. I dealt with Duane mainly but all the staff were friendly and helpful.
I found the bike prices here to be low generally. They seem to mark them down to be competitive and it worked with me. I got a great deal on a used bike here recently and am pretty happy with the experience.

The used motorcycle sales team is very unprofessional. It is exactly why customers like me dread buying used bikes from salesman. Sitting in Dallas, I was working with Scott Coakley on a motorcycle. He even confirmed the final offer and I accepted. Same day it happens that they sale the bike to a local customer. Complete waste of my time. No courtesy of giving priority to a customer who is working with them from 2 days.

I've stopped by this shop multiple times over the past four years - it's kind of a salon for people interested in motorcycles, and there's always good conversation to be had. One of their associates, Home, spent a ton of time advising me on the different members of the BMW lineup. Duane was also very helpful when I requested to test ride two models. Years ago, when I bought my very first motorcycle jacket here, they were willing to discuss a modest discount with me. This is also one of VERY few dealerships in San Diego that carries high-end Schuberth helmets, which I greatly appreciate

I purchased my 2009 F800GS from these guys way back when the shop was located on El Cajon Blvd and the dealership has simply gotten more awesome over the years. Services get the bike every 6k for a tune-up and a bit of "farkling", while the parts dept. has set me up with everything from a riding suit and gloves to all manner of parts and sundries... It's no stretch to conclude that they've earned my business should a new bike need to adorn my garage in the future (hello R nineT Scrambler?).

I would highly recommend these guys. I looked around a lot and talked to many dealers. I was really comfortable with them. No high pressure, just straight shooters. I actually checked them out on a business trip and bought here even though I'm from the Bay Area.
