Motorcycle City
Motorcycle City is dedicated to providing high quality, used motorcycles, to the community at low prices, with exceptional customer service. Since we are an independent shop, with no ties to any factories, we are able to be much more flexible with our customers and friends. We offer in-house financing to help those with credit problems to rebuild their credit while riding their dream bike.

The staff members are riders too, promoting the sport and staying in touch with customers, trends, and the industry in general. We are totally committed to serve you.
Services
A lot of places make this claim, but rarely do it! Motorcycle City is different. In addition to conventional financing companies such as banks, and credit unions, we offer our own in-house financing. We fianance our fellow riders who have less than great credit and can't get financing anywhere else.

Best motorcycle shop! I’ve gone to a few other places, and this is by far the best. I would get incorrect info from other stores while these guys would give me the correct info, they helped me find my dream bike will for sure come here again no doubt. Keep up the good work!

Went to check out a bike that was listed on their website. Frank let me take the bike to my mechanic which is the ONLY good thing about this interaction. Cam chain tensioner was loose, not really a big deal but something so easily to adjust makes you wonder. Both tires were in horrible condition and I was told the bike was ready to go (it's in the description post for the bike) and the biggest thing is the voltage regulator was broke and bike was getting up to 17 volts on a 12v system. His own mechanic said the bike would blow up from that. How shady is that. Even after all that I was still

Del Amo was over the MSRP which my credit union requires then they didn't qualify me for enough for the bike I wanted. Motorcycle City had financing for anyone, literally. Two different ways. The bike had a hiccup but he fixed it and it rides just fine. First bike, he was honest about the details straightforward about everything. he sure cusses a lot though.

These guys are amazing. I bought my first bike (05 Yamaha fz6) here, Unfortunately the day I got it it stalled and wouldn't start. I made one call to the guys at motorcycle city and they towed it back to there shopped for me and said they would fix it for free. This is a used bike and they easily could've left me high and dry like a lot of dealerships do. They not only paid to tow it to their shop and fixed it for free but also paid for my Uber home and threw me a free phone mount. I would recommend Motorcycle city whether you are buying a bike or just looking for an honest mechanic.

Very knowledgeable about honda service and repair. Very friendly and I didnt get a service tech just trying to run my bill up. Hard to find a trustworthy mechanic for my shadow.

Great store, came to check in some motorcycles a few weeks ago. I’ve gone to maybe 3 other stores and think this is my favorite out of them all. Very nice and honest owner haven’t bought a bike from anywhere yet but will be planning on getting a bike from here highly recommend.

Called about selling my bike. The gentleman that answered was less than friendly. Borderline rude. Needless to say, he lost a customer as I was quite interested in trading in a beautiful motorcycle for a smaller one of lesser value. I would advise this business to be friendly to everyone that calls.

The guys are impatient rude I guess depending who you are. Their tune up service is way high I doubt their service techs have good mechanical skills from what I gathered. None wore store uniform so you can't tell who's who. I only go that when I have no other option it's an emergency and I usually leave unsatisfied and sort of heated. Talking to me as if I'm stupid. This is just my opinion. Check it out for yourselves and you be the judge good luck.

Frank, the owner, was great in all of our interactions and very accommodating during the purchasing process during COVID-19 times.

I found Motorcycle City through Cycle Trader and found a bike that I was interested. I emailed Frank about pricing, condition and purchasing procedures. He replied back with the pertinent information through a couple of phone calls and eventually I made a purchase through the phone.

I'm based in Nor Cal so I setup transportation through a third party. Frank sent up the docs/keys in a week. Overall, smooth purchase during these times and Frank was nice throughout

Frank overcharged me and I rode off with no brakes. Be warned if you go here Frank will try to rip you off and they'll leave you your motorcycle in an unsafe condition. I should have known that customer service was bad when I showed up and there were no other customers anywhere.
After they changed my tires Frank failed to tell me that I had no brakes after they serviced it. When I rode off I barely came to a stop in time at the intersection in time after frantically pumping the brakes. I rode back to the shop very slowly and told Frank what had happened. He chuckled and told me I had to pump the

My husband and I purchased his first bike from this place. Frank was awesome to work with. He was also patient with us because we made the mistake of leaving our credit card at home and we had to drive all the way back to get it. They also provided a free helmet and gloves because he is military. We noticed the headlight bulb went out the day before my husband went to train for a month. They were awesome and replaced it quickly when he returned from training.

Thank you to Frank who took care of my V Star 1100 Custom, ( I keep it very clean) and made helpful recommendations for future service. When I asked about the final gear with the oil change he said he hadn't changed it but if I wanted it done he would do it at no charge. This review just affirms what an honest, thorough shop and sales Frank runs. I plan on getting all my future service done at MC

Frank and crew did me a solid after I was turned down for routine maintenance on my older motorcycle by Veys. They do good work for reasonable rates and quick to boot. Helluva nice folks there. I'll be back again for sure. If you have an older bike (or even a newer one) do yourself a favor and just take it here.

Motorcycle City has a good reputation for honest service and I needed a 10K for my Stage IV+ Road King. The work was performed with care and precision, in a timely manner, for an affordable price. Frank and his staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. I highly recommend Motorcycle City for service, and friends who have purchased motorcycles there are glad they did.

These shady scheming jerks said over and over that there was nothing wrong with my '07 'Busa even though it clearly has an issue. Another shop agreed with me that there's an issue, but until Motorcycle City realized my warranty was two months OR 1000 miles, they said there was no issue. I'm two weeks short of two months. Then they realized I had gone over 1000 miles and suddenly there IS an issue with my bike (no kidding!), but now it's all on my to fix it. Don't go here, don't buy from these guys.

It's hard to find good people, but an honest and good mechanic is rare. I've been to motorcycle city twice and the owner Frank is awesome!
I had the drive belt on my Harley sportster replaced, they were great about helping me find the cheapest parts online and honest about all my services. They adjusted my clutch for free and gave me some tips.
The second time I returned with clutch problems and they helped me out without charge.
Good people down there!

I have been a loyal customer to the Motorcycle City since 2009. I always bring my bikes to them everytime I need something major or just simply buying parts. Recently, I bought a bike from a friend that has been sitting for 4 years in his garage. I couldn't fix it myself so I decided to take it to their shop. Frank did a phenomenal job figuring out what what needs to be done with the bike. Could have told me to buy new parts that will cost me over $2K if I go to other dealers. But instead, he manually cleaned the system and made it happened. Now my bike is ALIVE!!! This is the least thing

Was shopping for a two bikes (his and hers) and decided to hit up all three shops in this area. First i drove past thinking it was closed because I was expecting to see bikes outside like the pictures online. We turned back around figuring I'd look through the windows and parked on the side street since there is no parking on Broadway or parking lot. To my surprise there were a couple of bikers in the garage and the shop was open. Walking through the "showroom" was difficult for hubby, as there were bikes wall to wall with little to no space. Every bike was clearly labeled with prices

If you are looking for somewhere to get a brake and light inspection for the DMV, do NOT go here. They told me they could do the inspection, they charged me $45 and gave me a DMV form completed by a 'certified' inspector. However, when I went to the DMV they did not accept the form. It was not the proper form, so now I have to get a REAL brake and light inspection from a REAL certified inspector and go BACK to the DMV. They charged me $45 for a piece of paper that is useless.

I am very pleased with my purchase of a motorcycle from Motorcycle City. My experience was that they really want their customers to be happy. They go out of their way to explain the 1/3 down "in-house" financing throughly, extend a warranty on used bikes (that they stand by), put new tires and an oil change on the bike, and in general will work with you on any issue.

I came in focused on a certain bike, and Frank really coached me on what he thought might be a better bike. I am very thankful for the coaching as I love the bike selected.

The financing extended was perfect, and the

So, my husband is in the market for a new (used) motorcycle, and we were in the area of this shop in Lemon Grove today. We walked up just before 2:30pm and the sign posted on the propped-wide-open front door clearly said they close at 3:30pm on Sundays.

Not only was the employee who my husband said hello to completely cold and unfriendly, he snapped at us and said "WE. ARE. CLOSED." with a look that would kill.

Who knows if my man had $10 or $10,000 in his pocket to spend in that shop?

What we do know is that with "customer service" like that, we will not be spending a
