Snyder Marine prides itself in employing some of the most highly trained and diversified technicians in the industry. With over 100 years of combined experience, Snyder Marine can performed efficient, safe and manufacture approved repairs. Out technicians fully engaged in latest manufactures update training and are all members of the AMTECH Marine Technicians Association.
Snyder Marine technicians are trained and understand the proper operation of all ships systems. We offer new installations and have access and are familiar with new systems as they enter the market. Anti-fouling paint (or bottom paint) is a special coating applied to the hull below the water. It slows the growth of marine creatures that attach to the hull and hurt a vessel's performance. There are many bottom paints out there. Snyder Marine can recommend the right bottom paint for you. We feature bottom paints from Interlux, Seahawk, Pettit and others.
Many times the source of electrical problems in a boat or dock are a result of an overloaded circuit, worn circuitry, or even a tripped breaker. Other times it may be a serious matter such as a shouted circuit caused by exposed. Loose or faulty wiring. Many times we find these are also caused by un-trained and inexperienced personal whom have added circuitry or performed localized repairs.

I've known Ron Snyder for close to 20 years and he has worked on and supervised work on my boat for all of those years. He is a person of character and competence, and has often gone beyond the call of duty to restore my boat to working order, at least once in the middle of a vacation! Many times he has SAVED me money by advising against things that weren't necessary (a rare trait). He is a rock--dependable, solid, and strong.

When I asked Snyder Marine to perform their routine spring maintenance on my boat in March of 2021, as they have done for some years, Ron Snyder told me "Per the note you left us last year on your attached invoice we felt it would be better if you found someone else to perform your service work as we appear to be too costly"- because I told him last fall that I thought $500 was expensive for a live well pump replacement - arrogantly firing me as a customer. I went back and looked at several Snyder Marine invoices from 2019 to present and noted they were charging me 2-5X as much as my previous service

Snyder Marine is a 5 star rating family owned business. There are no words for the amount of awesome customer service we recieved. We have 1982 Catalina 25 sailboat. We had them rebuild the bottom lower long shaft of our 9.8 Tohatsu. They went above and beyond to make sure our engine was installed and functioning correctly. We as a customer had a few issues that we didn't not foresee. Snyder Marine with the owner Ron Snyder and his staff Jeff and Dean and Dan never gave up.
