In the past two decades, acupuncture has grown in popularity in the United States. The report from a Consensus Development Conference on Acupuncture held at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 1997 stated that acupuncture is being "widely" practiced by "thousands of physicians, dentists, acupuncturists, and other practitioners - for relief or prevention of pain and for various other health conditions".
In cases of female infertility, acupuncture works by helping to regulate reproductive hormones and assist in the maturation of ova (eggs). While the flow and balance of key hormones like FSH and estrogen are regulated by the brain, (specifically the hypothalamus and pituitary gland), the acupuncture needles themselves are inserted in associated pathways known to influence these hormones back into balance.
Obstetric acupuncture offers safe, effective, and gentle care addressing the various conditions that arise during pregnancy, labor & delivery, as well as postpartum. Acupuncture has the advantage of providing women with the choice of drug free treatment and can successfully treat and cure a wide range of conditions.

I never paid much attention to acupuncture until a friend highly recommended I visit Ayesha Atique. I'm now a complete believer and am beyond grateful I was led to her. I always feel amazing afterwards. She really knows her stuff and is so passionate about this. It works - She's amazing - in every way. I always eagerly await my appointments.
