First, the pros. I found Todd to be friendly, thorough, and he communicated with us very well. He showed up on time and took his time going through the entire home. Now, the cons. When we got the actual report, we had not even had the chance to read and digest it before the seller’s agent was calling us to talk about it. Yes, that’s right, the seller’s agent. We hired him, and he gave a report to her. I found that entirely unprofessional. That takes a buyer’s leverage away, and we feel we got an insincere apology. When we got the report, it had random unimportant things in red like smoke

I'm buying a house in the area and wanted to get an inspector to look at it, mostly to get test done like radon and water quality, but figured I'd get everything inspected while I was at it. I recently worked for a general contractor for 3 years, and in that time I saw a few inspectors who didn't really know much or care, so I wasn't really expecting much out of the house inspection. Tod provided an inspection of a home we were purchasing in Belfast. As first time home owners, we appreciated the way he was extremely patient in explaining aspects of the inspection we did not understand, as well as details of construction with which we had no familiarity. We used Bay & Beyond / Tod to inspect a two-building vacation property we were purchasing from hundreds of miles away, and that we had seen only twice, briefly. The inspections conducted were very thorough, professionally, done, and clear. Some items that needed further investigation by specialists were appropriately called out, and the inspection ended up both saving us money and giving us peace of mind. And we once owned a home improvement company, so impressing us took some doing! We would absolutely use Bay & Beyond again, and recommend them to anyone requiring building inspection.

I hired Mr. Rosenberg to do a complete home inspection on the home that I was considering for purchase. It was a daunting task as the home was in excess of 100 years old and had many years of wear and tear.
Mr. Rosenberg uncovered many faulty repairs and safety issues as well as pointed out remedies for them. His prompt reply in returning calls, showing up on time and efficient manner in getting me the 47 page report was exceptional!
