Mathews Home Inspections is family owned and operated by Bruce and Jake Mathews. We have been serving home buyers in Maine since 2014 and are a family-owned and locally-operated business. We are an experienced father and son team with extensive knowledge of home inspection standards. Bruce started as a building contractor in the early 80's and also has over 9 years as a Technical Services Compliance Specialist with Maine State Housing Authority.
He has extensive frame to finish finish carpentry experience in addition to volumes of building code knowledge. Jake is a retired U.S. Army electrician and construction manager with experience in residential electricity, marine electronics, power line transmission / distribution, and power station operations.
