Dr. Obeime is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. He received his undergraduate training at Indiana University in Bloomington. He then obtained graduate degrees in both Public Health and Optometry before attending the Indiana University School of Medicine where he graduated in 1995.
After completing an intership in medicine at Ball Memorial Hospital, Dr. Obeime completed his dermatology residency at the highly ranked program of the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Obeime spent extensive time training in Houston Texas to give him full exposure to skin of all color. He also broadened his experience by working with international dermatologists at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil.

Went to Dr. Obeime for two appointments and was prescribed an antibiotic within 2 minutes of him seeing my skin and diagnosing me. He told me that my skin would clear up within a month or so, only for me to see essentially ZERO change after being on an antibiotic for more than 2 months. On my second visit for my follow up appointment, I told him I saw no change after 2 months on the antibiotics and he tried to prescribe me another antibiotic, and after I questioned him about what is the difference between the two he told me that they were basically the same antibiotic with minuscule difference

I have went to Dr Obeime for years. After another dermatologist couldn't give me a diagnosis, even though my lab results clearly showed what was wrong, he worked diligently to provide me with the answers that I needed on his own to be sure they were correct. He has always given me options on best treatments and helped my numerous skin issues. He is kind, caring and easy to talk to. He has a sense of humor which from reading the reviews are probably taken out of context. I've never heard an unkind word from him. I would send any of my family or friends to him! I had the best experience today at Dr Obeime’s office. I called to make an appointment, and I was able to get in within a couple of days as a new patient after I expressed my concerns with the scheduler. Upon arrival I was greeted warmly . I had to fill out paperwork, and as soon as I was finished I was promptly taken back for my appointment. Dr. Obeime was great! He was so kind and knowledgeable. He addressed all of my questions and concerns. He was even able to do a small procedure the same day. I didn’t have to come back for a second visit. I left the appointment feeling great! Had a GREAT experience here, starting with the receptionist who was was friendly and helpful. Dr. Obeime is super friendly and welcoming. Honestly, I almost canceled the appointment because the last 2 male physicians I’ve been to have had inexcusably bad bedside manor. Dr. Obeime has a calming presence that makes him feel like a friend. They also got me in and out very quickly, even with an afternoon appointment. I couldn’t recommend them enough. I regret to see this doctor. I should have read the reviews first.
The staff was not very nice. sent me the bill from 2 years ago which I never aware of saying if i don't pay in 30 days they will send to collection!
When I called they didn't apologize or anything but accusing that I didn't pay the bill. If I didn't, How could you let it got away for 2 years? and it's only $43. I swear I never received bill from them until now.
That taught me I could lose my credit score because of this doctor!

Dr. Obeime is great! Throughout my entire pregnancy I had severe acne problems. (Which I have had off and on my entire life) It made me so self-conscious. He was very patient with me and all my needs during that time. Very knowledgeable on what's safe during pregnancy and after pregnancy. He was very concerned and very caring all at the same time. After my pregnancy I had additional issues including a pilonidal cyst that took several visits to remove and drain. Was searching for dermatologists for a bit, was recommended here. Felt a bit awkward hearing the office staff talk negatively about their personal lives to each other while I was in the waiting room with others. Had a couple moles removed, 2 of which are still clearly there. Got a bill for $400+ even though I have pretty good insurance.
