GOOD NEWS! - The Athletic Packet can now be completed online! I am pleased to share the opening of a vaccination center for school families (all household members 18 and above) at George Washington Preparatory Senior High, 10860 S. Denker Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90047 in collaboration with St. John's Well Child and Family Center, to help serve families with students in the HEET Community of Schools.

I hope you are enjoying your summer break! It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I write this letter of introduction to you as your new Principal. I am truly honored to become a member of the Crenshaw family which has already given me a warm welcome! I am looking forward to the opportunity to work diligently with our staff and parents to deliver the best possible educational experience for our scholars.
Our mission is to empower all students with the college and career ready skills necessary to become productive citizens of a global society. We will be recognized nationally as a model of collaboration among teachers, parents, administrators, and the community dedicated to maximizing the educational, social emotional development and civic engagement of its students.
We are one Magnet with three career pathways; Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Medicine (STEMM); Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA); and Business Entrepreneurship and Technology (BET). Board Member Dr. George McKenna, representing Board District 1, office resides on our campus. We boast a long history and prestigious alumni and college going culture.
The CYFC Afterschool Program is an academic and educational enrichment based program that focuses on the academic and socioemotional success of the students at Crenshaw High School. The program operates Monday through Friday for a minimum of three hours a day, beginning as soon as the instructional day ends.

This school I attend at this moment and there are many shootings and non of the kids here care about learning or none of the teachers care about teaching we sit everyday doing nothing as do the other classrooms don't send your kids here

I personally went to this school the worst school EVER and i went to 6 other schools.
The one behind it is way better ( continuation school) people bully alot for no reason. Not alot of Subs some teachers don't teach. Its really bad crenshaw forsure.

I really didn't like this high school. I wouldn’t recommend any parent sending their child to this institution. Even though, I went to a university right after I’d attended this school. The reason that is this school is in a bad neighborhood (a gang affiliate environment), the academics are very basic, and the children who attend here are a different breed (not in a positive light). In addition, the kids are more focused on fashion and gang related events than their school work (and the parents of these children are no better). The classes are more of social club than a learning facility, unless

Never as a parent been two a school where to get the uniform u have to drive to Compton .. no parking at uniform store and high prices .. Crenshaw high school makes u drive to Compton for uniforms .. this school needs to rethink it's basic standards and outside contracts .. vary disappointed ..
