Don't miss out! Food is delicious and staff is extremely friendly, even on a busy & pressure filled Sunday. Fried chicken and waffles for brunch were delicious as well as the tasty cocktails. Prices are great as well! I would definitely make a reservation as they are seated before walk ins upon arrival!

Enjoyed the brunch! Eggs Benedict was great and the 3 egg omelette was very good also. Covert busy but was treated as if they were very glad to have us in their cafe.

I loved this place!!! The staff was very friendly and the drinks were great. I had a Cosmo. I have to eat gluten-free and dairy-free and they were able to accommodate me with many choices. Gluten-free I could order anything on the menu and it could be made gluten-free. I had chicken tostadas and they were really good. The best part was the number of desserts that where available to me. I had the brownie with sorbet (dairy free and berry delicious) and berries and coconut cream on top. We were full from dinner but could not stop eating this, it was delicious.

We went there expecting to eat brunch but learned they only do that on Saturday's and Sunday's (which was a disappointment for us going on a Friday).
The food came out fast, fresh/hot, and filling! We may not go back if ever in town again, but it wasn't bad just not quite our jam. We live in Southeast Texas where flavoring and seasoning is the best part of our food, so this place do not make it too high on our list of flavorful food, but if simple, consistent, and easy is your jam than this place is for you!

Absolutely wonderful. This picture was after I had eaten half of the cfs. Enough for 3 meals and so tender I could cut it with my fork!!!

I ordered grilled Salmon. The portion was smallish, but a healthy portion of sides, made it fine. I loved the spiced butter, to dip my bites into. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. I will definitely keep going back.

We just had lunch at Brent’s. The food was excellent. Chicken fried steak was large, the sides were a larger portion than we expected. Came out piping hot. I had the chips and queso . They make their own chips, served hot. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Step two: omelette with home fries and toast; eggs Benedict- upgrade to farm fresh eggs and support some local chickens and their humans

The service here was excellent. I would say it was very, very excellent, in fact. They were very busy, and we waited awhile for our food but it was worth it and we'd definitely eat here again when passing through.

They don't really have extensive hours and are only open for brunch on Sunday but they are definitely worth a visit. We went on a Sunday and my wife had the shrimp and grits, I got the chicken and biscuit dish, they were both amazing. A lot of people complain about the area but it's safe and there's plenty of parking. Brents is roomy inside and we decided to sit at the bar, nothing like a mimosa with your chicken and biscuits. Prices are reasonable but like most restaurants these days, they suffer from staffing issues. So if you go there, understand you may need to wait for a minute to get a table

Chips n queso made in house and delicious chicken fried steak with green chili gravy was as big as it was tasty. Great place!

We stopped in Amarillo on a road trip and wanted something local for dinner and ended up at Brent's Cafe. I got the pork carnitas tacos with the soup of the day (caldo), and my daughter got the vegetarian plate and a side of mac and cheese. Everything was PHENOMENAL. The caldo soup was the absolute best thing on the table, and that's saying a lot. Nico was friendly and attentive, as was the rest of the staff. I'm kind of trying to come up with more reasons to come to Amarillo just so I can eat here again.

Nice foodie hide away, the blackened fish was great ,the three carnitas tacos very tasty,the hank the cow dog burger was so flavorful & the hot fried mushrooms w/hot ranch dip just right.oh don't forget the beer & bloody Mary,& blueberry pound cake all too good

I like that they tried to give my son a mickey mouse shaped pancake(also took pancake off).But it was cleary burned.My mother "hens and nest " was super watery and she ate a couple bites.Mine was the smothered burrito it was just gross red sauce was oily and my potatoes were burned.
Bottom line we ALL left hungry.:(

Holy cow! Amazing food. Most all is gluten free (except the bread and pasta, but can be made that way). Totally worth the stop while in Amarillo!

Swung by this joint while driving from Minnesota to Arizona. This burger I ordered was delicious, but buyer beware, it was humongous lol. Kids had Mac and Cheese and haven't stopped talking about it since. Wife had fish tacos. Also A+ for taste and serving size. Super friendly, fast, and made a bunch of weary travelers feel welcomed. Great spot.

Outstanding! That's the best word I can use to describe our brunch today! We called ahead and had a place waiting at the bar during the busy Saturday morning brunch crowd. We each started with a spicy Bloody Mary that was fantastic! We had the frittata and the special - which was the Redneck Bennie - homemade biscuits with thick sliced ham, topped with a fried green tomato, eggs over easy and smothered with sausage gravy! Seriously so amazing! Taking two oversized homemade blueberry muffins home with us!

I've only eaten here this one time passing through Amarillo but don't let the outside appearance fool you. It's in a somewhat abandoned strip shopping area. What I got was fantastic. New Mexico sautéed chicken.

We were looking for a quick but good meal on our road trip through Amarillo, not too far off the freeway and found this gem! So tasty and you can tell everything is freshly made. Delicious and generous portions. My hubby's burger and fries and my $7.50 wedge salad! They also make their own desserts which we'll have to try next time. Definite 5 stars, great job!

Loved the service and food. Went there for brunch and found the menu included a diverse variety of options and beverages. Food arrived quickly.

It does not get 5 starts because the kitchen has trouble customizing the order. I asked for the gravy on the side and came on top. I asked for soft eggs and were overcooked. Server addressed it quirky and replaced them.

We will be returning again

The place is fully renovated on the inside, nicely decorated, the wait staff was very pleasant, very attentive, the menu seems to have many savory items to choose from.
My party got the Pork Carnitas Tacos and they were the bomb!! Hate to sound clichés but wow they were so,so good, the seasoning, the juices left on the plate just commanded to be wiped off the plate with your finger, 3 overstuffed tacos with feta cheese,avocado, n hotsauce-RECOMMEND also came with a side, we got the creamy potato

Wow! Super glad we stopped in on our way home from our road trip. Service here is outstanding! The server treated my pup as if she was her own - turns out they both share the same name, Pepper! Super dog friendly restaurant. I ordered the shrimp and grits which tasted sooo good - delicious sauce made up of poblano peppers, a little spice, and topped with fresh chives. YUM. So worth the price. My husband ordered the quesadillas which filled up the entire plate and also a side of onion rings which happen to be the thin crunchy kind that he really enjoys. Overall, very content we stopped at this cafe

Amazing dinner. We were traveling through and I used the app "Find Me Gluten Free" for something nearby and Brent's Cafe came up with rave reviews for safe gluten free options. And boy do they have a lot of options. It was so hard to choose. I got the soup of the day. I forgot what it was called, but some beef poblano soup that was delicious. For dinner, I had their fried chicken strips with a white gravy to dip in and it was excellent. I rarely can order soups, gravy, or anything fried. Only gluten free items go into the fryer so there's no cross contamination. I also enjoyed some onion rings
