Hassett & George has a proud history of providing legal representation to our clients from all over Connecticut on any legal issue. We are a full-service law firm with a reputation for integrity and dedication to our clients and the community. Our goal is to be a law firm for everyone, from the single parent in need of a custody modification to the national insurance company facing litigation, and everyone in between.
In the first half of 2021, Attorney Jared Alfin and our Commercial Collections team has collected over $500,000 for various commercial clients including landlords, contractors, condominium associations, banking institutions and private lenders. Jared works with clients to determine the most efficient strategy for collecting the money due to them and has had great success in negotiating with debtors on his clients' behalf.
First, be sure to get the medical attention you need. No two accidents are alike and there are many factors that play into each one (time of day, weather, actions of those involved, etc.) Consult with an attorney as soon as you or your loved ones are able. Not all accidents or injuries will result in a recovery for the injured party.
We will submit a billing statement to you on a monthly basis. Expenses will be separately stated on the bill. Our billing statements are due and payable upon receipt and are overdue if not paid within thirty days from the date of the statement. You are responsible for payment of all legal fees and expenses, regardless of whether or not any money is recovered on your behalf through a settlement or judgment.

Getting a divorce is probably one the most stressful things you can go thru. When your ex is greedy , spiteful, & a person that thinks everything is her's . She left me with a bag of lemons. Ray Hassett & his team made me the greatest glass of lemonade ever. He was spot on with everything he did. He advised me on how to proceed in a 50/50 split. Knowing he had my back & concern for my son's well being. That was a true relief for me .Ray got me justice for all the problems that were created during the divorce. I am happy to give them 1 star only because they were so nice during my consultation visit. My case was a simple one and required 1 maybe 2 phone calls. Once they had my retainer fee of $500 I never heard from them again and all my calls were ignored. I am very disappointed to have lost that retainer fee as it was part of a small amount of money left to me by my recently deceased father. Shame on them!
