Adenoids are patches of tissue that sit at the very back of the nasal passage/top of the throat. As your child ages, these structures lose significance as the body learns how to fight infection better. They begin to shrink in childhood and continue to decrease in size into teen/adult years. Some parents may confuse adenoids with tonsils, which are visible at the back of the throat.

(BEWARE) Dr. Marrs has zero personality! He doesn’t even let you speak, he ignores you while you are speaking ! I didn’t even get to tell him all of my symptoms and before you know it, he is out the door! During the Laryngoscopy my eyes just poured and afterwards I asked for a tissue, he didn’t even respond! Don’t waste your time or money going to him! He is extremely rude!

The new patient receptionist Jackie needs major training. I have never had an encounter with someone so rude and ignorant. She actually told me that it would be fraud for me to self pay because I have insurance. Wow. How does this person get hired to work at a medical practice. Totally rude, uneducated, and inappropriate.

This place is wonderful. So happy that all the positive reviews were spot on. I had a full blockage in my left ear from from swimming with my nephews, blocked up for a week. Found out both my ears were pretty loaded with wax. I can hear ants crawling now pretty much HAH.
Highly recommend this place and I’ll be making it a point to come yearly. The PA-C that cleaned my ears was Rachel Kondek. What a professional! Extremely friendly and talented at what she does. Felt so welcomed by office staff, assistants and Doctors. My wife couldn’t believe what came out of my ears, so now she’s going

10 minutes late due to traffic and they turned us away. Don't ever be late if you want to see the Dr. We will be going elsewhere. The sacrifice we made to make it to the Dr office and they wait to tell us at the counter that they are sorry but the Dr left early today. I guess that is my fault for scheduling my 7 year olds appointment on a Friday. I verified my 4:40 appointment at 11:00am. I called before heading there stating that my estimated time of arrival was 4:48 and was told that wouldn't be a problem. I arrived at 4:52 and was told that the call from the morning was to reschedule my appointment

On 8-16-19 I had a visit with Dr. Marrs to check out my plugged up ears. I am 62 yrs old and have never been to an ENT. I found the office and staff extremely organized and helpful. As a new patient I filled out the necessary questions using their fancy-smancy iPads (probably a little confusion for the less technologically savvy). Waiting time was very reasonable and basically on time with my scheduled appointment. Dr. Marrs was wonderful and had a nice calming bedside manner. In short order he examined my ears and used a little vacuum to remove some very large hunks of wax. What a difference in

I cannot thank Dr. Marlowe and his staff enough!!! I wanted to share how life changing the minor surgery was for me. He changed my life for the better. I am so glad I picked his office. I am a real estate broker, a few years ago I noticed difficulty hearing my clients In my line of work it is so important to listen and provide services based on client comments and feedback. I opted for hearing aids which did help however about 6 months ago I was again struggling hearing especially in my right ear. In my previous career I was a deputy and Sgt with the Sheriff’s office I dismissed my hearing loss

Called the office to schedule an emergency appointment for an infected salivary gland...the prompt action and sympathy I received was amazing. They gave me the first appointment for the next morning and was promptly seen by Dr. Marrs. Cannot say enough nice things about this doctor, he immediately prescribed the right antibiotic, explained thoroughly my condition and schedule an appointment in 10 days. Absolutely love this office, from the receptionist to the nurses and the doctors it's what you need when you are feeling sick and miserable. Highly recommended!

Dr. Marrs was very thorough and took the time to explain everything. I have very bad anxiety and he was calm and patient with me. He was very understanding of my condition and explained each step of my procedure. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that has anxiety and is nervous about ENT procedures.
