I was fortunate enough to get my FRAXEL LASER TREATMENT at Sunshine Medical Center. This review is just for the office staff as I have yet to see the doc. I will update later but the doctors should know their staff is woefully underserving them. I requested a new patient appointment online and received an auto-reply saying they received my request and will receive a call. Two weeks later no call so I call them. For new patients, you hit option 2 and a lady tells me to please hold. I'm holding on the line for almost 10 mins before I hang up and call back. Then the lady answers and without any ceremony asks for my insurance. As she's taking down my info she's simultaneously having

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Shanthi Prakash! Most importantly she cares about her patients. The only medical office I have been to in years that spends time with patients and addresses concerns. My previous office refused to see my son when he was extremely ill (took two at home Covid tests, both negative, but they required PCR before they'd see him. Meanwhile my son had a fever of 103) Dr. Shanti got him in as a new patient, addressed all of our concerns. We have been seeing the doctors at Sunshine Medical clinic for several years. My wife and I really like both Dr. Shanti and Dr. Soordal. Our rating would be higher if you could rate only their care. But, the overall experience is much lower when there is always at least 30-45 minute wait to get to an exam room, then another 20 after that to be seen by the doctor. The office staff does not seem able to handle simple requests for lab orders and scheduling times that don’t require an hour of waiting. I wish the could find good help for the front office since they provide great care.
