Kirwan Industries is a Cincinnati-based metal fabrication shop, whose goal is to perfect the art of metalwork one job at a time. Ronan Kirwan, who started the business over 10 years ago, hails from Dublin, Ireland where he served as an apprentice for six years perfecting his skills and craftsmanship in copper smithing and welding.
Kirwan Industries specializes in customized metalwork, including both structural and ornamental metal. Kirwan Industries works with metals ranging from stainless steel to wrought iron to bronze, pewter, copper, or brass. We can take your idea and create a drawing that will result in a unique, finished product.
We repaired this 18th century French graphometer with some detailed silver soldering for the Mariner's Museum in Newport News, Virginia. Kirwan Industries was hired to repair the scales for the Lady Justice statue that stands on top of the Cascade County Courthouse. The statue, which had stood for over 100 years, collapsed during a windstorm in 2004.
