Hi, I'm John, owner of John's Auto Body & Paint. When we opened our doors over 30 years ago, my goal was to repair and restore the automobiles of Greater St. Louis with the finest precision. John's Auto Body & Paint is a family owned and run company providing exceptional auto body services to the communities around St. Louis. For more than 32 years, we've operated as a high production collision shop with an additional facility for restoration services. Ever since we opened shop in 1982, we've had a soft spot for restorative work on classic cars. If you select our turnkey service we'll tear down the machine to the bare metal, build it back up and drive it off the lot to you.

We have used John's three times now (pretty sure my husband has gone a few other times) but we have always been taken care of. Two accidents have caused us to need extensive body work on both vehicles. From start to finish they've kept us in the loop, handled our insurance claim, even was able to supply pictures when asked by the other driver's insurance at my request. With current delays on parts due to Covid and supply issues, they made sure to keep progress moving. Jeff has managed to handle me calling for updates and questions when my husband wasn't available or forgot to tell me what was going

John and his crew at John’s auto body were outstanding from beginning to end. From the ownership taking charge and making sure everything was correct, to the front desk where everything was handled and I just kept informed on my progress. The guys in the back did an exceptional job on my 2005 BMW M3 convertible. They went the extra mile and cleaning my car and also offered to keep it indoors when the car was finished due to inclement weather. Thank you guys nice job!

I took my 2000 T/A here for paint work to be done to the hood and spoiler and have a decal put on the hood. Zach worked with me the whole time and was honestly one of the most honest and transparent businessmen I've worked with. Any time there was any problem, he'd call and let me know the situation.
When the car was finished, the color match was incredible and honestly the car looks brand new. They even cleaned the outside of the car and clean the interior as well. I'll definitely be back for any more work and will always recommend people to go here.

Last week on my way home my panoramic sunroof was either hit by something or just exploded while I was on the highway. Very scary driving with glass breaking to get home. Called my insurance company and they took care of everything!!! Set up with Sunroof express to send my sunroof glass to John’s Auto Body. They crash wrapped my car so I was able to drive it till my glass could be put in. They worked with me and even moved up my appointment so I will be able to drive to my 90 yr old mother this weekend as I have been doing every two weeks to visit and take care of her needs during the pandemic

I would not recommend this business. They play the blame game when there is a problem so they can get out of fixing the issue. They re-assembled the bumper and the gaps were uneven. They said they did not work on that side so it must've been from a previous accident. They damaged the paint on the mirror of the car and claimed it was already like that.
