Services
4S Dance Academy (4SDA), founded in 2010, originated in 4S Ranch. After 5 years, the lease ended on the shared studio space and new owners Shay & Jason Galloway began the search for a new home. The forced move proved a blessing as 4SDA now has its very own retail studio space at the Westwood Shopping Center, which is conveniently located on W. Bernardo Rd. and is easily accessible from I-15, Rancho Bernardo Dr. and all surrounding areas.
Students across all dance genres are encouraged to audition, even if they are not taking a ballet class. There are a wide variety of parts that our recreational program (Youth, Teen classes - Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre etc.) will love! A download link for the packet was emailed to 4SDA Parents and is available online in the Shared Files of your 4SDA Account.
Twirl, leap, sing, and move with your toddler! This energetic and fun class is designed for students from 18 month old, up to 3 year olds who might not yet be ready to take class without a parent or caregiver. Students get to use scarves and musical instruments, bean bags, hula hoops, and so much more.
This class is the perfect class for all dancers! Whether you are new to ballet or are an experienced dancer hoping to work on fundamentals. All participants are guaranteed the opportunity to be artistic, enjoy beautiful music, and get in the best workout available. Cardio hip hop is a fun, upbeat aerobic workout based in simple hip hop movement.
Shay began her ballet training at Laguna Dance Theatre with Shery Gilbert, right around the same age as many of your little dancers. She grew, advanced and trained with several other prestigious schools including Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Alonso King's LINES Ballet.

Love this dance studio! The owners are awesome human beings and you can tell they are passionate about what they do! It feels like a family and my daughters have loved going. They are in person now (and we are on the super caution spectrum of this virus) but feel like they do a phenomenal job with safety, cleanliness and making sure the parents are in the know with their protocols and procedures. It's tough for small businesses especially right now and this is one I definitely support!

I am so grateful that Shay & Jason have taken over 4S Dance Academy. They are wonderful people and great with the kids, and of course Ms. Shay is an excellent teacher as is the rest of the staff. My girls love going to dance in a nurturing yet disciplined dance environment. They have done a great job with the space they have to make it possible for parents to see their children dance. We have been to a couple of other studios, and 4S is definitely by far the best in the area for us! We are excited to have been a part of the 1st 4S Dance recital last June and are looking forward to the

Great dance studio with wonderfully friendly, patient, and talented teachers and staff. My daughter has attended this school for the past year and I've seen her develop her skill and confidence tremendously. She throws out French words that I don't know (pique, plié, tondieu??) and learned how to skip/hula hoop and be graceful from these teachers. The end of the year recital was very professional and definitely made me feel like our time and money investment was worth it! Lovely family that runs the business, lovely teachers, and lovely studio all around.

Friendly family run business. Went to a couple of dance places for my daughter and this is the one she really likes. I really like this place too. I have been to a couple other places and this was one of the studios where little girls were not being taught to dance suggestively. Geared towards ballet. Nice, professional teachers. Nice facility in the Westwood area.
