Nelson Computer Repair

This is the second time I used their service. It seems the staff changed. First time in 2018 was a great experience. This time it was not good. They communicated inaccurate information about their work (stating that they were able to recover files which turned out to be false), which would have only required a little diligence to verify things before communicating it. Also, they were not straightforward and clear about their pricing over the phone. If they were honest, I would have opted to buy a new laptop instead of repairing the existing laptop. Highly recommend this place to anyone who might need data recovery work done on an external drive or other storage devices. The staff are incredibly nice and very helpful! Great guys! Replaced my hard drive and ram on my laptop, more reasonable than I thought it would be. Had a minor issue with it reading usb drives afterwards, but I came in and he immediately dropped what he was doing to look at it. Took about 2 minutes to fix and i was on my way.

Had a problem trying to copy music from an old ipod onto Itunes. These folks solved it quickly. A very helpful and friendly atmosphere and a good price as well.
