Browse through the retail gift shop, which offers many great gift ideas, or take home a bottle of wine or cider. Many choices await you at our wine bar: our handcrafted wines, our unique hard ciders and craft beers.
Services
Our story begins in the spring of 1953 when the farm was purchased by Tom White, who owned and operated orchards in Chardon, Windsor, and then Geneva, Ohio. In later years he ceased operations in two locations and expanded production at Spring Hill, in Harpersfield Township. The name Spring Hill, came from the numerous natural springs on the 200 acre farm.
Our handcrafted wines range from dry to sweet and include Reds, Whites, Roses, Fruit, and Dessert wines. Our 'Dessert' label wines include authentically made 'Ice Wines' and cryoextracted 'Frosted' fruit dessert wines. Try our handcrafted small batch cocktails made using distilled spirits from Ohio distilleries.
We strive to make our winery a friendly, relaxing and fun atmosphere. We offer many classes, ladies night out events, Barrel Club, and Book Club, as well as providing a venue for parties. Weekends bring out popular local musicians to entertain our guests on the dance floor. We do not take reservations, but we do need large groups to let us know when and where they are coming before they arrive.
At The Winery at Spring Hill, our attentive staff is available to answer your questions and ensure you are 100% satisfied. If you have any questions, concerns or compliments, please get in touch and we will get right back to you. We love children at Spring Hill - both human and furry. We are definitely pet friendly outside on our large patio.

Want to say thank you for the staff here last night. Our wedding rehearsal party found themselves without a destination after our reservation at another site was canceled & turned us away. Things happen for a reason. Food & drinks were very good & customer service excellent to accommodate a 25 party guest list last minute. Thank-you so much for being there for my son & future daughter in law & making this a wonderful night.Everything was Great!

Had a great tasting at Springhill. Wines were good, but the highlight was the wine slushie. Even on a cold windy day it hit the spot!

Lovely little winery! They have many choices for wine and a huge craft beer selection also. The menu is small but good enough. We came on a Sunday and they had live music outside in the huge back yard area. There is also a very cute gift shop! We were staying as part of a Harvest Host member so we got to watch the
Moon rise and sunset while staying in our RV. Awesome place and worth a visit!

We found this place alive and well. Live music and great wine. There is plenty of good options and a very large seating area. Plenty of food from meals to snacks.
Danced the night away to a throwback band called Back Traxx. Highly recommend this winter and this band.

This was our first time at this winery and we where not disappointed. Great wine, food and entertainment. Owner Rick was everywhere making sure everyone was taken care of. They even lit some fires after sunset to keep us comfortable.

We had a tasting of some of their wines and ciders. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I settled on a Blood Orange cider and my wife had a Riesling. We ordered a garlic and cheese flat bread and a smoked Gouda cheese plate. The flat bread was hot and the cheese was gooey. The cheese plate came with 4 different types of crakers, pretzels, grapes and apple slices. All was worth the price.

Fantastic wine selections. I loved a variety of their red wines. My husband enjoyed the craft beer selections (sold in cans or bottles) as well. We both had flat bread pizza which were delicious. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area.

We really like their wine, but the outside needs some maintenance. Several of the tables have rotted boards that are taped off which makes it look run down. We are going to be heading there again in a few months and I'll be curious to see if any repairs were made. It would also be nice if they had umbrellas because it was very hot in the sun. I'm not bashing this place, we like it. But in comparison to the other wineries nearby it has lost some points in my book.

Absolutely atrocious service. My partner and I waited more than 45 minutes to have our orders taken, while other guests continuously bumped into us and cut in line, simply shoving their way through. There were three staff members taking orders, in between having long, personal conversations with a "friend" or perhaps "regular" while the line continued to grow. I am not sure why this establishment has signs posted at the door referencing wearing masks due to Covid, etc, because no one in that establishment was wearing face masks correctly, both staff & most patrons. Staff & visitors would wear their
