Services
Debonne Vineyards was established during the third generation of the Debevc family's viticulture history. Anton Debevc, a 1914 immigrant from the Slovenian State of Yugoslavia, purchased a general fruit farm in Madison, Ohio in 1916. Anton's son, Tony Sr., helped expand the vineyard in the late 1960's.
This beautiful, open-air patio provides your guests with picnic style seating with natural wood features. The patio is located behind the Grill, close to the Band Pavilion. Our outdoor Grill features wood-fired pizza, specialty sandwiches, paninis and appetizers. The Grill is open Memorial Day through the end of September (weather permitting) for your convenience. Place your order right at the Grill counter, located in the paved patio area just outside the main winery building and then enjoy your meal indoors or out.

Had a great time here. The staff was friendly & gracious. Food was delicious. (Get the blackberry almond brie!) Wine and beer (from double wing) were both really good. I got the premium red tasting for $12 that included a souvenir glass, chocolate & pretzels. This place isn't fancy but it's cozy, quaint, relaxed & reasonably priced. I would def recommend!

My husband and I did NOT enjoy our visit to Debonné -- overcrowded, smoky and the portico area smelled like sewage though it was positioned nowhere near the bathrooms. Gross. Biggest issue was customer service -- staff chastised my husband when we went to order because our order didn't meet their "minimum." We didn't know -- not from around here. They called over a manager who publicly rebuked my husband. Suffice it to say, not a pleasant experience at all.

This was our favorite winery on our visit to the area. Beautiful property, entertainment, and a wonderful selection of wines. We were there on a Wednesday and it was PACKED, but there are so many special little spots to sit and enjoy in the quiet too! My husband and I are more into the quiet scene and we found just the right place! We highly recommend!

Stopped in on the way home from the Medieval Faire. We were only planning on staying for a glass of wine and hit up another winery on our way back home, but we ended up getting 2 bottles while we were there and drinking them. The inside is nice with nice seating areas, but we sat outside at a picnic table. They had live music going as well. We did not order food while were there just popcorn which was good and was only $1 for a large serving. We would totally go back and hang out.

Awesome place. Fantastic setting, really good wine tasters and wine. Great draft beer tasters and local beers. Knowledgeable staff and a wonderful garden. We did not try the food but others around us were very happy. Can get busy so pick your time. The barman with the Joy Division tattoo knows the beers and wines inside out and is great to talk with.

This is always a favorite stop when my wife and I come to the Geneva area for "winery hopping." They have a very nice selection of house made wines, as well as their own crafted beers brewed onsite. They have a very light menu, and in the warmer weather you can take your food and drink outside and sit at any number of shaded tables. (They also have good popcorn.). Very friendly staff.

My wife and I had been visiting several wineries in the area last Wednesday 9/30. We had visited 4 different ones, then went back to our cabin to change and freshen up, as we were going out for dinner that evening at Grand River Winery. Since Debonne is only a few minutes from GR, we decided to stop there first. I was particularly interested in their craft brew area.
The grounds and building are quite nice. Unfortunately, that's pretty much all the good i can say about this place. I have a feeling that if you are a local regular here, then it might offer a better experience. But for us

Come one, come all to the Debonné County Fair! This place was bustling on a Saturday afternoon. Not so crowded that you couldn't get a bottle of wine, but the lawn and gardens were packed with tables and chairs. A band was playing, and I assume based on the "No dancing permitted" signs that people might have been dancing in less socially distanced times. Kind of felt like I was at a graduation party.
If outside, you order your wine from a walk-up booth. I was on the rosé train at that point so I asked which was the driest and the bartender pointed to one on the list (lol). We

Ohio wines - people who've never tried - have no idea what they're missing !!!!
While I've been to Debonné many times in the summer and enjoy there wines? I saw an opportunity for a tour so signed up. WOW. What a great time ! Our tour guide Michael was awesome. He knew so much about the wine business and the winery. The tastings were fair and oh so very good. I'm not sure which of them will be lining our wine rack but maybe a bottle of each !!
They have a rich history and is one more reason I love the Cleveland area !!!
Put this tour on your list ! You will

This winery is beautiful and the wines are actually really good. They have a tasting area and the option to just buy by the glass. We did both, and also got a cheese tray and it was all great. We also did some beer tastings they had available and the gentleman who helped us was really awesome! The downsides, the ladies that helped at the main bar inside were really not nice, they close at 8pm, and getting an Uber out to this place is VERY hard. All in all I would still say this is worth going to. Most of the staff was good and the setting really is great.
