Services
Dress codes are established to promote learning and unity within a classroom setting. Please read our complete dress code to help ensure your child is dressed appropriately for his or her dance classes. Find complete dress code information when you register for classes on line. Fiona Webb has been with Extensions since she was 13 and will be graduating this year to go on to.
Each company has their own requirements in terms of how many class hours they must take/week and also how many rehearsal hours they have/week. Petite Company starts at 4 class hours/week with Extensions Too! Increasing to 8.5 class hours/week and then Junior, Teen and Senior companies are at 10+class hours/week.

Since 2005, Extensions Dance Company has taken great pride in the training and mentoring of young dancers. Extensions students have gone on to attend prestigious universities and conservatories across the country. Extensions offers exceptional dance training combined with numerous community outreach opportunities, where dancers learn to love using their talent and their art for the greater good.

This dance studio is a gem in the busy city of Chicago. The artistic instructors are amazing. Not only do they emphasize technique, they also motivate young dancers to embrace their uniqueness, push beyond their comfort zones and celebrate the beautiful art of dance. The atmosphere is professional and safe. No drama, only rigorous and nurturing training. Students come from all parts of the city and suburbs to take classes here, that alone speaks volumes of the type of training they are taking. My daughter just completed her first ballet class with Extensions Dance Company. It was wonderful. She learned a lot and was inspired to learn and grow in dance. The company did a wonderful job transitioning to online courses during the pandemic. They even pulled off an amazing Zoom recital that our families could enjoy.

I have searched far and wide for a place that I felt like WASN'T taking advantage of my love for my daughter (almost7) I love the discipline that I see from every student EVER time I go. My daughter hasn't stopped, dancing, choreographing and stretching since she left the first class. I can't explain the level of happiness this school has brought to my already happy girl. My daughter has been in Ballet at Extensions since she was 5. While she does enjoy her lessons, she especially loves it when we stay after class to watch the older dancers. Their talent and discipline is amazing and inspiring. I love watching her watch them, and I’ll be thrilled if she continues at Extensions and grows up to be one of these beautiful dancers someday.

Extensions Dance Company is a truly amazing studio. Lizzie and the team of instructors are not only incredible dancers and teachers, but they also foster a caring and positive atmosphere in which young dancers thrive. The environment is so open and compassionate – all the dancers support and encourage each other, both in and outside of the studio. I cannot recommend Extensions enough. We are so lucky to have found it. We are in our third year now, and my only regret is that we did not find it sooner!

This is an amazing place. My daughter has been taking classes here for three years and is part of their Company. The founders have created an incredible community that is compassionate, supportive, and warm yet rigorous and demanding. The kids and parents are all well grounded. This is not your typical "Dance Mom's" place. The environment is fun and approachable yet serous dance happens here.

Extensions Dance Company is a wonderful dance learning environment. The children are taught both substance and style, teachers challenging them to excel. Our 8 year old daughter dances 10 plus hours a week and never once did we have to push for her to go to a dance class, she loves the environment, other students (now friends) and teachers. Lizzie has something very special with Extensions Dance Company. Go EXD !!!

After 2-3 different studios for my girls I have to say this is our forever spot. The instruction and community here are spot on, professional and nurturing. We love the other families that come here. The fact that so many dancers come from long distances to learn here shows that people know quality when they experience it. Lizzie is the consummate professional.
