At Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., we know that the overwhelming feelings of despair, disbelief, shock, and numbness caused by the passing of a loved one cannot be conveyed by mere words. Even when death is expected, the pain that loss brings can still be devastating. In truth, no one is completely prepared for the death of someone close to their heart.
During this difficult time, there are decisions to be made immediately, arrangements to be coordinated, and a lot of things to be considered for your loved ones final farewell. We understand how this may feel overwhelming, especially with the grief you are feeling over the loss. But, please know that we are here to help and support you and offer grief resources.

Services
Our mission at Christman's Funeral Home is to answer your key question, "What do I do next?" With empathy, we offer a professional but personal experience with funeral planning, cremation and memorial services. Our team is here to help you create a heartfelt service that reflects on your loved one's celebration of life.
At Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Gregory A. Vaitl grew up and resides in Lebanon County. He is a 1996 graduate of Lebanon High School and a graduate of Northampton Community College where he earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Funeral Service.
When we are asked "What Do I Do Next?" in regards to a traditional service, we review all available options before we begin working diligently for your family. Traditional services are provided to enable an opportunity for closure and comfort for friends and family. At the beginning, we take the time to explain various options before finalizing the services that reflect the life of your loved one.
Cremation has become a popular option for many people because it can be more flexible as to where and when you hold a service. You can have a traditional funeral service before a cremation or a memorial service at any time with or without the urn present. You can keep the urn, scatter the cremated remains or have the urn buried in a grave or columbarium where we can hold a service.

I have nothing but Great Respect for Gregory and his Staff.
I am from out of State, and got into Lebanon on a Thursday afternoon, and called Gregory and made appointment to meet with him on Friday.
the funeral was scheduled for Saturday.
My Aunt Died in California, and I was out of the State. Her wishes were to be taken to Lebanon to buried between her Mother and Grandmother.
When I got the call that my Aunt died, I contacted Chrisman's Funeral Home. I talked with Gregory, and he started immediately helping.
I met with him personally the day the body arrived, and he was so considerate. I completely

I lost my father suddenly. Something a girl dreads most in her life. It was the worst feeling ever. But when your 87 year old grandma sits and stares at him at the viewing and says “i haven’t seen him Look this handsome since he was a teenager” you know you made the right choice trusting Greg and his staff to take care of your loved one. He made my family smile, helped us feel peace and made this terrible experience more manageable then i could have expected. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience🖤

In the midst of this pandemic it is quite difficult not to be able to be with family and friends and grieve in the traditional fashion. Being thousands of miles away when my mother passed made things extremely sad, difficult and unsettling. Greg, somehow made it ok by having me there via FaceTime. I cant speak highly enough of the kindness and thoughtfulness Shown during this difficult time. You helped me to give me the closure I needed even from this long distance. I can’t thank you enough for the kindness and compassion you showed to me and the family
