At the Buch Family of Funeral Homes, we have been Faithfully Serving Families For Over A Century. When our licensed directors sit down with families to plan a service, we take the time to provide all the answers you need. Our staff is dedicated to helping you explore your options and help you make decisions that you will feel comfortable with - at a time when it's hard to know what questions to ask.
There's a lot that goes into planning a funeral, but making those arrangements beforehand gives you time to consider all of your options and make sure that you're covering all of the necessary details. We are here to guide you through the creation of a service that reflects your values, preferences, and budget.

Our funeral home has a unique history and has always been committed to forming relationships and working within the communities we serve. 1861 - John R. Henninger entered the undertaking business during the period of the Civil War. 1878 - N.C. Henninger, son of John R. Henninger, came to New Holland and worked for Robert Culbertson, a New Holland, PA undertaker.
Located in the center of town, our Mount Joy location embodies much of what the town strives to offer visitors and locals - a blend of history with revitalization. The funeral home has preserved the historical significance of the building, while continuing to upgrade and expand the facility to accommodate the families that we serve.

We attended a funeral recently and one of the Buch employees was terribly rude to my mother-in-law. I thought funeral directors recognized people grieve, while attending a funeral...based on how we spoke to her, he must have forgotten. I want an empathetic, sympathetic and caring funeral director. For this reason, we will never use them.

Paul was the most caring, thoughtful, and thorough funeral director. He was gracious in the way he handled every portion of my dad’s funeral. He was timely with the billing, the prices were affordable, he followed up, and got my dad’s obituary in the paper the very next day. With social distancing being in order, he even live-streamed the funeral on Facebook for free. Amazing company! Use them!

My father picked Heisey for my grandfather's funeral this past weekend and they were really amazing. Very organized, got the cars lined up which made a very smooth transition and went above and beyond and delivered my phone back to me when i left it in the limo. they really help make a difficult process easier.
