There is this idea that some people are born with rhythm and born knowing how to dance, and some aren't. There is also the misconception that memorizing choreography is learning how to dance. Patricia believe that dance is a form of expression that can help people from all backgrounds not only through exercise, but also find their own style in motion.
As a kid Patricia always had a passion for dance but her father who raised both her brother and her alone couldn't afford to pay for dance lessons. She did not know where or how to begin, so she watched and imitated her brother pop locking, waving, and (as she would say) "his attempts to break dance" every chance she had.

I went to patty's dance studio with a bachelorette party group and we had an amazing time learning from her! She made it easy for us and was patient and still let us have our fun learning. Highly recommend!

We are SO LUCKY to have found Patty. She choreographed the best hip hop dance for our wedding and patiently taught it to us over a number of sessions. She knows a broad range of styles and came up with a dance routine that was actually cool, not at all cheesy. She has the most amazing, positive energy and kept us really motivated to learn and perfect the routine. The weeks leading up to your wedding are an incredibly stressful time, and our lessons were something fun we looked forward to amidst all the other obligations. Her pricing is beyond reasonable, too. Awesome dance class! Patty is a great dance teacher who really cares about her students. She encouraged us to email her any questions we had or certain songs we wanted to dance to. Patty teaches you how to become comfortable dancing on your own and finding your own rhythm to any beat. I’m excited to take the next class!

I had the oppurtunity to dance with Patty back in college so when I heard she became a dance instructor I knew it'd be great. I went on vacation in New York a few weeks ago and stumbled upon her classes through groupon, I had the oppurtunity to "style my motion," with Patty's intricate stylish moves. With dance she emphasized that I shouldn't be afraid to add my own flavor and just let the music lead me. Patty is a great dance instructor she encourages and motivates you to push your body to its limit and for that I am thankful and honored to have had the privilege to learn some moves from her.

This was such a great class!!! Patty made the movements easy to follow and she would point out when I was going offcourse as soon as I started doing it! She really pays attention to everyone and makes sure you’re comfortable! I went with a friend of mine who has never taken a dance class and she felt like it was a safe space for her. Definitely coming back!!!

This was soo much fun!!! Patty is an amazing dance teacher, she goes slow and makes sure everyone's comfortable. I can say from personal experience that I am not a good dancer but Patty teaches you in a way that makes you more passionate about dancing. I can definitely say I'm coming back and recommending her to my friends!!

Patty's class was amazing! I attended a 6-week beginner class with Patty during March - April. She was very thorough and helpful. She would effectively balance attention between the group and address our individual needs. My biggest takeaway was that I learned to be more comfortable and play around with the moves we learned. I also had a strong understanding of the core movements. All in all, I loved it and would take her class again in a heartbeat!

I had private lesson with Patty and it was an incredible experience. She’s a talented dancer and is equally effective at helping others to learn how to tap into their rhythm and have more fluid movements. She’s passionate, professional and flexible with her teaching methods. I was a little reserve when I sign up for beginner’s hip hop with Patty. How relieve I was when she started the class, Patty is so sweet and patient. I actually can “MOVE” who new. I highly recommend Patty she is absolutely awesome a true professional. Definitely five star status!!

What to say about my experience with Patty ! Definitely one of the best experiences I have had when finding group classes on Groupon ( the deal too ) . She keeps the class size small so she can cater to each individuals needs and takes you step by step . You really start to believe in yourself after 1 class with her and even would say you find your own “ style in motion “. You can tell how much passion and dedication she puts into it .
