Our office is conveniently located on the fifth floor of the Houston Medical Center Plaza in the Texas Medical Center, yet you can visit us avoiding the worse of the Medical Center traffic. Patients using METRORail can use the Dryden/TMC station on the Red Line. Our facility is wheelchair accessible.

I was pleasantly surprised. the atmosphere was amazing and so peaceful. all of the staff were super polite and friendly. they made sure i was comfortable at all times. it was close to closing yet they all still had their beautiful smiles. the doctor explained everything thoroughly and made sure i understood the diagnosis and answered all my questions. i was very nervous but all that went away just as soon as i got there. these people are awesome.

Dr Carvounis is very thorough. He took his time and showed me my issues on his computer screen. He is very detailed and the confidence he exudes gave me comfort and trust. His diagnosis also gave me great relief as I was diagnosed with permanent vision loss due to a retained lens fragment from another provider. He told me he could restore my vision and I am extremely grateful to him. I can't wait to get started on the treatment plan. Thank you Dr Carvounas and God bless you!

I was very impressed with Dr Carvounis and his office. I came for a retinal examination, the assistant took the time to review my health history and stayed with me during the several scans of my eyes that were needed. I was seated on time and never waited more than 5 minutes. Everything flowed well in the office. Dr C took the time to explain my scans and answered every question I had.
I have seen an ophthalmologist for most of my life and it’s always been a dreaded and anxiety producing experience. Not with Dr C. and his staff. I was comfortable, never rushed and learned new things about eyes
