As a long term care pharmacy, we provide a standard of service that goes far beyond that provided by retail or chain drugstores. Our service is based upon the needs of the residents and the facilities that we serve and is tailored to the needs of elderly, frail, chronically ill patients, and those who are unable to care for themselves independently.

We are using Wellness Concepts only because the assisted living home where our mother resides gives us no choice of drug stores. We are required by Journeys Crossing of Elkton, Virginia, to use whichever store they choose. Even though Elkton Pharmacy is only a block away from Journeys we must use Wellness Concepts in Grottoes. Since Wellness Concepts has taken over the account, we have had issues with Mom’s prescriptions being changed without permission. When we question this, the prescription is changed back with apologies but then it happens again. We are concerned that our 90-year old mother
