They took over ownership after the much-beloved Dr. Mark Yanus retired after a long and successful career in veterinary medicine. As new owners, they plan to continue practicing high-quality medicine but maintain the small-town feel that the community has grown to love. Their vision for Moreau Animal Clinic is to grow with the community and always be willing to help anyone with their pet family members in any way possible.
Moreau Animal Clinic will be going through some changes, but they will be positive changes for pets and our clients. Doctors Nick and Jill are excited to be new members of the community and promise to always provide every pet that walks through the door with an excellent standard of care at all times.

Preventative care is your canine's first line of defense against injury and illness. When you bring your dog in for an annual exam, this allows us to prevent, diagnose and treat disease in its infant stages, often before you begin to notice any symptoms. Treatment is much more effective when it starts earlier (and it is much cheaper), so preventative care helps your pet live a long, happy and healthy life with you.
Every year thousands of stray and unwanted animals are euthanized in shelters across the United States. Many of these deaths are the avoidable result of owners failing to spay and neuter their pets. Even if you keep a close watch on your pet, accidents happen and unexpected offspring means more animals that won't be given the chance at full, happy lives.
Regular dental care is essential for keeping your best friend happy and healthy. Dental disease is a common issue among household pets, and it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated. Periodic dental exams also help maintain proper oral hygiene and prevent future complications. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call us at (518) 792-6011 or make an appointment online.
Vaccinations are the best weapon against many viral and bacterial infections, as they prevent deadly diseases like canine parvovirus and rabies. Vaccinations are vital to pet health and should be administered to every animal. It's important to administer vaccinations while your pets are still puppies or kittens, when their young immune systems are still developing and need protection to stay healthy.
Do you have a new, energetic, happy and loving baby animal companion? If so, we can't wait to meet your new best friend, and we are certain they are absolutely adorable. Please schedule an exam with us as soon as possible so we may welcome your puppy or kitten into our family, make sure they are healthy and give you guidance and support to acclimate them into your home and life.

It is not showing compassion when a client calls to schedule a euthanasia for their pet and the clinic schedules them over a week out. As a veterinary professional I understand the “congestion” our field is having these days, but we have a commitment to heal and relieve animals from suffering. When a client calls and their animal is suffering, our clinic makes time. In this situation, the pet was given a date for euthanasia over a week past the call date and the pet passed at home 4 days before the appointment. I have been an LVT for over 20 years, I am disappointed and sad for the family that

I am so sad that I am moving and my kitties will no longer visit this vet clinic. The staff and veterinarians are so kind, professional, respectful, and wonderful towards the animals and the owners. I highly recommend this vet clinic if you have kitties or any animal. I can’t say enough kind things about the vets at this clinic and the staff. Thank you for taking care of my cats while we lived in the area. ❤️

My grandpup has been seeing Dr. Nick and we were already happy with his basic care. When the pup got really sick, they had an opening and got him in pretty quickly. I was in charge of bringing him in and was afraid I would have to decline a whole lot of extra work I wouldn’t want to jump into but Dr. Nick was honest and said he thought we could try conservative treatment. When I had questions and concerns later, the tech got on the phone...two different times....and was very patient, thoughtful, intelligent and helpful. All in all a really nice, clean and efficient practice I am so glad we found
