Every day, we come to work because we believe in making a difference in the lives of people and the pets they love. Here, we find answers. Here, we change lives. Because when your pet looks into your eyes, they see a hero. We'll help you care for them like one. Like Home We believe in providing gold-standard medicine to every single pet who walks through our doors.

But more than that, we believe in creating a truly special environment for that care to happen in. One where you see the same faces, every time. One where people truly get to know you and your pet, and one where you begin to feel among friends. Here, you and your pet always come first. Here, you will feel at home, at ease, and cared for.
Services
Pet wellness care can alert us to potential medical issues before they become serious. We perform a complete nose to tail examination on your pet to look for any health concerns. We'll also discuss any changes since the last time we saw them and ask if you've noticed any unusual behavior.

If we're alerted to any possible conditions, we're fully equipped with advanced in-house diagnostics to run the proper tests and obtain results as quickly as possible.
Physical exams are, at times, insufficient for us to see what is happening with your pet internally. Prior to surgery or to investigate an illness or injury, diagnostics may be necessary for us to identify potential (or existing) problems so we can move forward with the best treatment.

With our cutting-edge pet diagnostics equipment and full-range in-house laboratory, we can diagnose a wide variety of conditions that might otherwise go undetected. With the help of advanced laboratory equipment, we can run a large number of diagnostic tests on your pet's blood, urine, fecal matter, or serum to screen for health issues and identify their cause.
A Higher Standard Your pet may need to undergo surgery at some point during their lifetime, either as part of their routine care or to correct an acute or chronic condition. We understand that you will likely have many questions about the procedure, your pet's safety, and the total cost, and we will be glad to provide you with all the answers you need.
We know you love your pet like family. And when a pet gets sick or is injured, the cost of care can often be substantial. That's why we have formed a partnership with Care Credit in order to help you finance medical costs for your pet. You can apply in minutes, and please let us know if you have any questions about coverage.

If you want professional service with a veterinary clinic that cares about your pet, this is the place to go. Dr. MacNaughton saw my senior dog Chewy when she could not walk. Her back legs had just started collapsing. Now she is doing so much better. She also had a bad hot spot on her neck from a rainy camping trip. She was seen promptly and taken care of. Typically, Chewy does not like going to the vet, but she loves going to Homestead. All the staff are friendly and professional. I can't say enough about how great this vet clinic is.

My very first experience was when I called them for reassurance that my 5 week old puppy was going to be ok without the mother. I had gotten the dog & did not know she was that little. I was extremely anxious & worried for my dogs health. The lady who answered the phone when I called immediately hung up on me when I asked if they were a regular Vet or just a hospital. I have never had animals before & it was a legit question as there is a difference between a doctors office & a hospital. I called back & they said they don't see puppies until they are over 8 weeks. Seemed strange, but I have never

They have refused to make appointments rather than being adults and saying they did not like a previous review and no longer wish to care for my pets. I call for services and no one calls me back. My pet had a surgical procedure with a bad reaction and no one took my call for days.
They are rude, unprofessional and they charge the highest prices in the area. I was willing to pay it for the best service, but clearly that is not what you will get here.
A blessing in disguise that I had the manners to ask if they no longer wished to care for my pets. Or this childish game would have continued

I called Wednesday morning, as a new patient for my kitty- Penny. I was quickly called back, and given an appointment that morning. Penny was given the best care, they didn’t rush treatment and made sure I was informed of everything. Which is hard, because of Covid- you are not able to be within the building. From Judy at the front desk- the Technician and Dr. Lewis. I couldn’t be more grateful to have my sweet Penny on the mend. They truly care and well-being of your animal is most important to them all. Thank you all!!

Homestead provides safe healthcare for your pets throughout the pandemic. Always caring and friendly staff, keeping us safe and their members safe as well as your fur babies. I recently had to have my eldest hedgehog put down. Homestead, although not an exotic veterinary, provided me with that service for my hedgehog. They were extremely caring and compassionate at my time of grievance. I received a card from the staff in regards to my family's loss of our "fur" baby. They let me take my time saying my goodbye's and let me compose myself before leaving. I knew her last moments would be kind and

Thank you so much to all the staff here. Very friendly and attentive. Dr. Butler is kind and knowledgeable, he has taken great care all of our animals. We have two dogs and a cat, he treated them as if they were his. You can also tell that the staff loves animals and love what they do. We can't thank them enough
