Whether you need routine care or advanced restorative treatment, our team is poised to meet your dental health needs. Please take a moment to meet Dr. Widick, Dr, Dobbs, our Dental Hygiene Staff, and our Assistants and Reception staff. From Dr. Widick's initial days as an associate in 1993 to leasing her own place a few years later, our practice has continued to grow because of the continued confidence of our patients.
Susan Appleberry Widick is a lifelong Independence resident, graduating from Truman High School in 1986. She performed her undergraduate work at the University of Missouri, then attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. While at UMKC, Dr. Widick was senior class president and an instructor in the school's dental occlusion laboratory.
Dr. Dobbs holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Missouri. She has extensive experience in the dental profession in the greater Kansas City area, most recently as a staff dentist at Truman Medical Center Lakewood Dental Department.
Jennifer Bell joined us in 2014. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist with a degree from State Fair Community College and is continuing her education at UMKC School of Dentistry's BSDH Degree Completion Program for Dental Hygienists. Jennifer is actively involved in volunteer work for dental health, church and the Grain Valley community.
Your lasting impression of any healthcare practice is often of the support staff. That's why our dental assistants and front desk team are so important. Jennifer Ramirez and Erica Brown provide chairside assistance for Dr. Widick and Dr. Dobbs as well as offering answers to your questions, scheduling appointments and keeping the office running smoothly.

Dr. Widick and her staff have been putting up with me for over 10 years now. They are always very friendly and accommodating. I have referred a few of my friends to Dr. Widick over the years and they all comment on the same things after visiting: Blown away by the nice office and how friendly the staff is.
