My name is DJ Street, Lane Joseph, and I am not your average disc jockey playing the same songs over and over. I have music from all genres from the classics up to the most recent hits. I have spent years picking all the songs in my always expanding 45,000+ song library. When you submit your playlist requests I make every effort to play them and create a playlist catered to your event.
I will also dress appropriately, whether it is a beach party or a wedding I will wear the attire you prefer. I will personally be the DJ for your event. I will NOT sub-contract your event like the "larger" DJ companies. I'm proud to have worked as the wedding DJ for more than 450 wedding ceremonies.

I became a DJ for hire in 2004 with simple house parties. A year later I DJ'ed my first wedding. Soon afterward the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science (TAMS) contracted me to DJ their prom. From there my business as a mobile DJ really took off. As I gained more happy clients I received more referrals that led to even more happy clients.
I only use quality professional equipment from major brands including Denon, QSC, JBL, Korg, Numark, Akai, and Apple. I use two completely different sound systems depending on the size of venue and number of expected attendees to make sure the sound matches the event. Whether your event is an intimate gathering or a large outdoor blowout, I have the right set-up to meet your needs.

Whether you have a specific time table or prefer to "play it by ear", I will help your special day go as smoothly as possible. I work with you on the playlist, you can either give me a list of the songs you want played and I can compose a playlist from that, or you can just let me know the genres you enjoy and I will create a dynamic playlist that will change as I get a feel for the crowd.

We had a great experience with DJ Street!. From our initial consultation, up through the day of the event, he was very kind and personable, but also incredibly helpful. He knew exactly the questions to ask, and had all of the answers to our questions. Our reception was a blast, and the pricing was very fair. A wonderful selection for our big day!!!

Lane is great! We hired him for our rehearsal dinner. He is very kind and professional. He made sure that the music he played was what I wanted to hear. Lane is the quickest person I know to respond to emails. He is straight forward in his emails, but I assure you he is a cool guy in person. Glad we were able to hire him!

DJ Street did a wonderful job for the Era Prom. He played up to date music and stuff that the kids really liked. He was professional and worked really hard at making my job easier for the night. Lane was so much more than just a DJ at our wedding. His music and audio/lights setup kept the party going all night! He coordinated with our live band (we had them switch back and forth) to set up a shared speaker system. He set up a small portable set in our ceremony location and mic'ed our officiant and my husband so we could all be heard clearly by everyone there. Lane was AMAZING! He showed up and started setting up an hour before the wedding. He knew how to read the crowd and get the party started and kept it going all night long. Lane really came through in a big way for our wedding. His immense knowledge about weddings and how they flow was demonstrated around every turn. We had a few potential issues that would have affected our wedding, but Lane noticed before they happened and kept everything on track. Overall superb DJ with multiple skill sets. 5 stars just isn't enough.

We hired DJ Street to perform at my daughters Sweet 16 Party. He was wonderful! He arrived early and was set up before the event started! All the music was clean as requested and we danced all night!! DJ Street was professional and patient with a large group of teen girls who kept making requests :-). The light show was top notch and we had a blast! Thank you DJ Street for such a memorable time. Can't wait for the next party!!!!

I attended a wedding where DJ Street was the DJ, and I couldn't help but notice his professionalism, courteousness, and knowledge of audio equipment. His experience working with important and sentimental events like weddings was proven by his focus and lack of any mistakes. He was always ready for announcements, even making sure the schedule stayed on track. He had a great audio library for requests and made sure everybody was having a good time. He was very well dressed, very polite, and didn't mess up any names. I highly recommend DJ Street for any event.
