Services
My passion for criminal defense began in college. I studied Criminal Justice and Spanish at Saint Louis University. I also played rugby at SLU, and led the team to two (2) Missouri Rugby Football Union championships, defeating the University of Missouri. I interned for the St. Louis Police Department and learned police policies and procedures.
My interest in criminal law began when I clerked for the Hon. Joseph McCurdy in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. There, we sat on a felony criminal docket and I was able to observe numerous serious felony criminal jury trials. I became a prosecutor in August of 2006 in Talbot County. After 3 & 1/2 years on the Eastern Shore, I moved to Baltimore County and joined the State's Attorney's Office in Carroll County.
Matthew Kunka is a senior attorney at Scheuerman Law, LLC, he is a licensed member in good standing with Maryland's Bar and is the process of joining the United State's Federal Bar. Mr. Kunka distinguished himself at Gettysburg College where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science and played college football.

The unCUFFED program is based out of Baltimore, MD and seeks to assist youths that have been imprisoned. The program outfits its participants with the tools necessary to be functioning members of society by providing access to educational and employment resources. In addition, unCUFFED reaches out to the families and supports their home lives as well in anyway they can.

Trust me when anyone says he's good at what he does, believe it. Mark is professional and will give the the best and worst case scenario of your case. He will actually prepare a defense for you case not just show up to just get you plea. He is prepared to go to trial for you. Lawyers I've dealt with in the past made me feel as if I might as well have defended myself. Mark didn't make me feel that way, he is very knowledge and honest. He is the best.

Mr. Scheuerman did a great job helping me with a speeding ticket! He provided professional advice leading up to the court date and then took care of everything in court as well. He was also quick to respond to phone calls and emails. I would recommend him to anyone needing help with a traffic ticket!
