My wife was sent away because she brought our 5 & 3 year old children to our dogs appointment. Said there can only be one person with the pet. If they do not have the competence to understand Covid-19 statistics and guidelines, then they do not have the competence to treat my pet. Children that age pose virtually 0% chance of spreading the virus per CDC statistics. This place is incompetent I would not trust your pet's life in their hands.

Horrible Experience!! I was blatantly disrespected and lied to by Issac, the scheduling receptionist, who insisted he was his own supervisor when I asked to speak with someone about his rudeness. My 5 pets and I have been loyal customers of Horse and Hound for years, and my loyalty, not to mention my money, is clearly of no value to this company.
If you want to be treated poorly, definately bring your animals here. If, however, you demand professionalism and compassionate care for your best friends, especially when paying the premium price charged by Horse and Hound, #badvet , then go, litterally

Nice folks for regular care for dogs/cats. Doc Rowe is great. Their pricing is higher than other vets, but for routine care, I didn't mind.
HOWEVER, they do not set aside any time each day for unscheduled visits, so anything more than routine vaccinations or checkups, you need to go elsewhere, and they appear to like it that way. If you have a horse, oh yeah, they can see you right away no matter what. If your dog needs an x-ray or other issues that aren't true *emergencies* but can't be scheduled, too bad, they just send you to an Indy center 45 minutes away.

This place is absolutely awful! The vet here is greedy, insensitive, unprofessional, incompetent and dishonest. Everyone who works here probably fits that description, in fact. Their pricing is outrageously and unnecessarily high. There are other veterinarian offices that are way overpriced that still seem cheap compared to this place. And since Corona, they’ve become even less helpful and less reliable. The way they do things now is just saddening. We had to call them to tell them we arrived, then we waited 15 minutes for them just to call back so we could give them my debit card info and for

I have had Dr. Blackwell as my horse vet for many years and I think the world of her!
Had to switch vets for my dog and cats and took my dog in for his first visit with Dr. Rowe. He had an absolutely horrible experience at his previous vet which ended up making him very fearful to the point where he had to be muzzled just to have the vet in the room with him and I was extremely nervous that this visit would end up the same way. Dr. Rowe and her vet tech were fabulous! They recognized all of his triggers and were very patient with him. They took the time to listen to me and didn't brush me off

Our experience at Horse and Hound could not have been better. First the clinic was very clean. Most importantly the staff was professional, friendly and beyond accommodating. The professionalism of the staff started with a well explained plan of what the operation would entail and itemized cost was clearly given up front. After the surgery we got courtesy calls and I left a message with a question before hours and they promptly responded with an informed response. My wife was further impressed when she saw Dr. Hopper at school registration and she asked how our dog was doing by name and condition
