How much will this cost? It is easier to predict how much your matter will cost if it does not involve any sort of litigation. In fact, there are some matters that Morgan Law will handle on a flat fee basis (plus expenses). In any event, Morgan Law knows that money may be tight. Mediation is usually ordered by the court in Superior Court cases (those alleging that over $25,000 is in dispute). Sometimes the parties will submit to a voluntary mediation in smaller cases that they believe will benefit by a frank discussion of the issues. It feels like he's going to work for you, but then nothing. No follow up. No return e-mails. No return phone calls. When an attorney becomes absent in communication, it makes me wonder if he will also be absent in the courtroom. I cannot afford to show up in court anxious as to whether or not my lawyer will be there. So I let him go and sought counsel elsewhere.
