Services
We specialize in the biomechanical analysis of function. It's not enough to treat the area of pain. We have to look for the cause. Back pain can come from a tight hip, rigid foot, or lack of shoulder motion. An ACL tear can be caused by pelvic malalignment, shoulder restriction, glut weakness, or structural torsion.
If you are a softball or baseball athlete and want to improve pitching speed and accuracy, improving fielding reach in the outfield, and ball tracking in the batter's box. Running faster isn't just about turning your feet over or being in shape. Being efficient with proper joint glide and muscle fire can go a long way to vastly improving performance in a short amount of time.
A labral repair is a significant surgery that can take 4-6 months to fully recover from depending on your level of activity. We treat A LOT of hips, both pre-operatively in trying to prevent surgery and post operatively when surgery is the best option for you. Below I have tried to create easy access to to any information you might need as this can be an overwhelming diagnosis.
Pitching is not is not a position for the faint of heart. You must have a short memory, an endless work ethic, a relentless attention to small details, and the ability to combine ferocious power with relaxed whip. There are a million small parts of the pitch that can make or break your outing and you have control over a lot more of them than you think.
We will email you your patient intake paperwork for you to fill out ahead of time to bring with you. Upon scheduling we will take your insurance information and check your benefits ahead of time so that you know your patient responsibility when you arrive. We will need to make a copy of your insurance card in order to file with your insurance company.

I had a total knee replacement in August 2020. I chose Absolute Performance because of their proximity to my home. I'm thrilled I picked them...my therapist, Kassi, was simply amazing. I achieved excellent range of motion early in my therapy. Kassi had a great plan for me. My surgeon was very impressed with my results at my 2 week follow up. Kassi assessed my progress each week and added exercises as need to address areas needing improvement. I have recovered very nicely, and I attribute most of that to the team at Absolute Performance in Grimes!

Both my daughter and I have been patients at Absolute Performance Therapy. We can say nothing but great things about all the PT's there. I have been there for two different injuries, and what I like is they gave me exercises that have prevented me from having a re-occurrence of those injuries. When I walk out of there, I know I am a stronger athlete then when I started therapy.
