As a team-oriented person, Dr. Brown was on track to become a physical education teacher and coach. She soon realized, though, that she wanted something more. Her grandparents followed a more natural path to health and saw a naturopath and chiropractor. They also ate right, didn't go to medical doctors, or get sick and take medications.
Dr. Hervat began seeing a chiropractor at 7 years old after a sledding accident left her in extensive pain. Chiropractic care allowed her to quickly return to a happy and active lifestyle. After seeing what chiropractic was able to do for her, she developed an interest in the field. The more she learned, the more passionate she became for the profession and what it could do to help others!
The central idea of what we do is based on protecting the health of your nervous system. This all-important system controls every function of your body. The spine houses the nervous system, protecting it from harm. When the spine is out of alignment, it interferes with your nervous system. In turn, your ability to heal is affected.

Excel Family Chiropractic and Wellness has helped me tremendously. The doctors are all caring people and are they to help you feel better. My neck issues have improved a lot. If there is something that hurts, the doctors can do an adjustment that helps. I go every three weeks and I would highly recommend Excel Family Chiropractic and Wellness

Johnny’s first appointment at 3 weeks old. Thank you Dr. Donna for adjusting and helping my little man out. He was very gassy which made him VERY fussy and i felt helpless. After his adjustment i was relieved… no more fussiness like he’s in pain and he’s even drinking 2 ounces now instead of just an ounce. Also when i picked him up i felt like i was hurting him because he had a different cry and it turns out his shoulder was just stuck in place.

I would recommend Excel (Dr. Brown) to everyone. The staff is patient, kind and has made everything happen in a timely manner. I have been seeing Dr. Brown twice a week for 2 months for various acute and long term pains, all of which have had significant relief. It is so important to me that I can communicate my painful areas and have treatment to those areas. Dr. Brown has used x-rays, various assessments and touch to know exactly where to adjust. This has been one of the best self-care tasks I have ever done for myself. I am so grateful to have a local chiropractor like Dr. Brown.

Couldn't find relief for my hip pain at my regular chiropractor. Was told by a friend to try them here. Saw Dr. Spencer and its all better already in 4 adjustments. I got a very different treatment here than my usual. They seem to really pay attention to what your issue is and treat it. He recommend a massage to relieve muscles and that is what helped everything go back into place. Nice to be able to get a massage and adjustment at the same place!

The staff is very friendly and helpful! I took my infant to Dr Brown and she was willing to answer my questions and didn't just brush off my concerns. We also used Caroline for a massage for my son, she was great and she also gave me tips on what I could do at home. They truly care about helping their clients no matter the age. I'd highly recommend them.

Working with Excel Family Chiropractic has been a wonderful experience for me. I like the warm friendly atmosphere of the office, but more importantly I love Doc Brown. In my opinion she tailors her work on you based on what you need as opposed to just some rote manipulation. I have total trust and confidence in her. And, if you need a massage, Holly is my go to gal. She is absolutely awesome.

Dr. Brown is a kind, caring, knowledgeable chiropractor. She goes above and beyond to find the cause of your problem, make the necessary correction and also gives added benefit with other helpful hints such as nutrition and exercise to get you on your path to wellness. I have seen many chiropractors over the years and she is absolutely without a doubt one of the best. The staff at Excel Chiropractic is friendly and always willing to assist. Dr. Brown and her staff are incredible!!! I cannot say enough about how much they have helped me and our 1 yr old son. Our son has been seeing Dr. Brown for ear infections and he is doing so awesome. We have seen an overall improvement not only with his ears but his posture, energy level and overall physical endurance. Dr. Brown is amazing and… so knowledgeable!! She truly fixed my back just recently and I cannot thank her enough for making me feel better and helping me become functional in a couple of days!!! We love the staff at Excel Family Chiropractic and Wellness:)
