Because of a childhood illness I grew up with many physical challenges and constant pain which has helped me appreciate being healthy. I believe the body has an incredible ability to adapt to constant external changes and remain healthy. Stresses however can lead to changes in the spine and contribute to declining health.

I strive to educate my patients regarding the causes, effects, and prevention of these stresses and how chiropractic can help. I welcome families, professional sports teams and athletes of all kinds. At Balance Chiropractic in Mesa we want to help people live up to their full potential and enjoy life.

While in Hawaii, I had been walking more than ever before and I was in a great deal of pain. Dr. Kimura invited me to his office for care for an aching back and my feet, which had been paralyzed when I was 6 years old. The doctor expressed confidence in his abilities to help my body. I was a bit uncertain and skeptical but he was so confident that I thought I would give it a chance.
We are excited to deliver quality chiropractic care to Mesa and the East Valley community. Our approach is simple. We believe that health is amongst our most valuable possessions. And while we generally meet people after they've lost their health, our commitment is two-fold. We're committed to teaching our patients that true health is a journey, not a destination.
As a lifelong athlete, I had always taken the health and wellness of my body for granted. It wasn't until I was in college and in so much back pain that I realized what a wonderful blessing the working body is. I attended Brigham Young University on a volleyball scholarship, and during my senior year we had an early morning practice where I swung at a ball and knew something was terribly wrong in my mid back.
My path to becoming a Massage Therapist and Structural Integrator was a long traveled road. At 25 (1990) I had a back injury during a hiking trip on the Pacific Crest Trail in Oregon. It was pain like I've never felt before. Like knives jabbing me in my hip bones and searing sharp electrical pains moving down my legs which also made my feet feel tingly and numb.
Below are the 33 Principles. If read slowly and with an open mind, understanding universal intelligence refers to God and innate intelligence refers to our inborn wisdom or our spirits, much can be gained regarding the ways of true health and life. The Major Premise - A Universal Intelligence is in all matter and continually gives to it all its properties and actions, thus maintaining it in existence.

I am an owner and clinic director of a multidisciplinary medical clinic in Oregon, and while I get most of my care at home, I am here visiting and was in dire need of help. Dr. Hallows was gracious enough to see me last minute on a Saturday as a new patient. He was kind, efficient, and extremely thorough up to, and including a quick neurological exam to rule out potential red flags to treatment. His prone adjustment style and the fact that both he and the wonderful staff at the front desk were masked, allowed me to relax into my treatment, knowing that he cared for my health and safety as much

I would give Dr. Hallows more than 5 stars if I could! I called his office for an emergency appointment because I woke up with what I thought was a pinched nerve in my shoulder blade one day, and after 4 days of excrutiating pain and zero sleep, I finally decided to get help from a professional. Dr. Hallows' office got me in the same day I called, and right away I was impressed with how friendly his office staff was. Dr. Hallows is a miracle worker and he has magic fingers!! He asked so many questions and did such an in depth physical examination, I was astonished by how thorough he was. He

Dr. Hallows and his awesome staff were so friendly and kind. Dr. Hallows took the time to listen to my issues and concerns. He explained everything before he did it and took the time to explain a treatment plan and my major issues or areas to focus on. I would recommend Balance chiropractic to all my friends and family! Oh and if you need a relaxing massage, Tina is amazing

I love to lift weights, compete in triathlons, basically do anything that is going to keep me ready to compete and perform any task at anytime. Therefore, when I woke up one morning after a hard day in the gym and found myself unable to literally walk, I was beside myself. I had heard from an acquaintance that Dr. Hallows was the best, but being the skeptical person that I am, I had my doubts. Let me just say that I walked into his office that morning hunched over in pain and left a with a renewed vigor in my step. Pure genius. That guy has hands of gold and a great personality to boot. I
