Eagle Animal Hospital & Pet Resort, originating from the old James Farm dairy barn (circa 1889), is the oldest business and one of the first animal hospitals north of the Missouri River. Dr. Tom Eagle first opened the hospital's doors in 1946, making Eagle Animal Hospital a landmark in Riverside, Parkville, Platte County and throughout the Greater Kansas City area.
Here, you can view our newly expanded, 10,000 square-foot pet care center located in Northland. The virtual tour presents the overall layout and allows you to explore each and every nook and cranny of our multilevel veterinary hospital. Using the toggle, you can easily navigate from the lobby, through hallways, to exam rooms, our pet surgery suite, the luxury and studio rooms in our pet resort, and more.

In May of 2020, Eagle Animal Hospital expanded its veterinary practice in Riverside to a second location in Tiffany Springs. The new expansion involved the acquisition of Tiffany Springs Animal Hospital and its new 6,500 square-foot facility. Upon acquiring Tiffany Springs Animal Hospital, we have added a full dental suite, as well as digital imaging, ultrasound, and laparoscopic surgery services.
For nearly 75 years, Eagle Animal Hospital and Pet Resort has been a foundation in the Northland, providing unparalleled care for your pets since 1946. We are excited to expand our veterinary practice to the Tiffany Springs area with convenient veterinary care for your canine and feline family members.

My cat developed a skin allergy. We've had our challenges with this. I appreciate the patience, time, listening and attention from Dr. Silvius. This isn't a journey I'd relish without him. I trust him. And that doesn't come easily from me.

I cannot recommend this place enough for your pets needs. I walked in hoping they could get me in soon, and I was back within 15 minutes. The vet was the most helpful, and caring person I’ve seen. We got what we needed, and are more than pleased. We will always come to Eagle Animal Hospital.

I appreciate Dr Reynolds very much. She took several calls from me in one week around my sick puppy, saw him quickly and helped me plan through his care. She takes her time and answers questions. I think the price is very fair for how quality they are.

I recently moved to KC from Ohio and was nervous about finding a good vet for my two puppies. I loved my veterinarian in Ohio and didn’t know if I could find a clinic that lived up to those standards. I was wrong! Eagle Animal Hospital and Pet Resort was outstanding! The entire staff made for a great visit and I am very happy I found such a great team to care for my dogs!

We don’t live around here and needed vet services. We were able to walk right in with no appointment and we were helped right away. It ended that up our dog needed surgery and they were able to do it right away. The doctor was gracious with us, was very good at describing what needed to be done and very good with our dog. All the employees were super nice and we’re very concerned about our dog. They made sure she was comfortable in what they were doing to her and kept her as pain free as possible. I highly recommend this place!

We were so impressed with this place. Everyone was very caring and so helpful. We were just passing through and our dog had a an infection. It ended up being a lot more intense with her needing surgery.. but they were able to do it right away. They kept us up to date on her progress by phone and she was happy when we picked her up. The best part? It didn’t cost us a fortune! Now to deal with the dog with a cone on her head for a few days.
