Cranford Animal Hospital was founded in 1983 by Dr. Saul Zucker to offer compassionate veterinary care to the animals of Cranford and neighboring towns. In 2014, Dr. Nazar Pereymybida and his wife, Dr. Goosyl Han had the pleasure of becoming the new owners of this hospital. Since 1983, Cranford Animal Hospital earned a reputation of family friendly, responsive and dedicated veterinary practice.
We offer full range of preventative services including vaccination, blood, urine, fecal testing, spay, neuter surgery, screening for hip dysplasia and much more. Our Well Care Program is specifically designed to cover all aspects of preventative care for dogs and cats of all ages. It provides best wellness medicine for your pet and value for you.
Puppy Well Care Program specifically designed for growing puppies. Their changing life and fast growth require frequent veterinary visits, puppy vaccines, blood and fecal tests, as well as important surgical alteration neuter or spay. I could not be happier with the vet service we have received while taking our doggy here. For almost a year the wonderful vets helped us take care of our dogs skin allergies. They always answer all of our questions and offer different treatments if needed. They listen to all of our concerns and are very insightful. Very thankful because now my dog is healthy and happy and not itchy anymore

When we brought our dog there the place seemed to be Initially run fairly well (Fall 2020): we were able to get appointments on short notice, quick responses, good communication, able to get prescriptions filled within 24 hrs. Lately the communication has been unacceptable, you leave messages that are never returned, we follow up and the staff doesn't seem well trained, and they promise responses that never come. It's hard to judge the quality of the vets themselves, but I can unequivocally say that the staff is horrible for the reasons already stated. They couldn't even find the

Worst ever experience with this lady. I felt she just wanted me to book an appointment without hearing my concerns and needs. I felt disgusted and disappointed because all they heard was $$$$$$ and yes come on in so we can rip you off without hearing my needs and concerns. I would stay away and go elsewhere and keep your pets away from the scary monster that may harm you in the pocket and as always buyer beware.

Two weeks ago I was in this hospital to put a micro-chip in my dog, and a vaccine for him to be able to travel outside the country, on the same day I spoke with the doctor and he informed me that the papers for him to travel would cost the return of $ 311, I in possession of this information continue the process, today with 10 days left for my holidays where I would celebrate my birthday and take with me not only the dog but also my daughter, because the dog is her emotional support, they charged me 493.76 dollars, when I was told not only by the doctor on the day of the implantation of the micro

I've been bringing my dog here since she was a puppy and we've always had a great experience. During our most recent visit I was able to get a last minute appointment which I really appreciated. They ran several test and diagnosed her with a skin allergy. The doctor was thorough and answered all my questions.
You cannot enter the building because of Covid. One of the assistants came outside and took notes about what was going on with my dog and was very detailed regarding what my concerns were. Once they were ready someone came to the door to get my dog. An overall pleasant experience

Michele (the Vet Tech?) was AMAZING. Truly got the sense that she cared about my cat and my comfort levels as a pet parent. She is really the only reason that I haven't taken this to the next level.
Unfortunately, Dr. Nazar the actual vet was much less..umm...personable. He honestly only seemed… interested in selling me specialized food (of which there were piles in his office marked for return) to treat a stress-induced inflammatory condition (in the most laid-back, stress-free mush of a cat ever). Several things happened to cause us to have a bad experience. First of all at my puppy's first visit they lost her stool sample we brought. I spoke to them several times on the phone and was told they would call us when her results were in. After waiting a few days and never hearing anything I call back only to find out they never sent the stool sample out and don't know what happened to it.
I end up having to run a new stool sample over and a day later find out my puppy is positive with giardia. Which we could've started treating days earlier if they didn't lose the stool

I had a wonderful experience at the Cranford Animal Hospital! I had to bring my cat for some booster shots and they were super friendly and professional. I unfortunatley was searching for a new family for my… cat Lily, because of my newborns strong allergies, and they were able to find a loving family for her. I recently took my senior cat here for a check up because i thought she had something wrong with her eye.
I was told my cat needed dental work ( which is fine ) so I went ahead and did her blood work and a bunch of other things. I was told she was in a great amount of pain, however, she didn't appear to be in any pain at all to me.
I paid $875 for my first vet visit with my cat which included the vet visit, blood work, fecal OPG, consultation, xrays, pain Injection, antibiotics and a shot. Everyone I spoke to said that it seemed incredibly expensive.

My experience here was unpleasant and i will not be returning. They have a free first visit sign on their site but are no longer offering due to Covid-19. Everything they said to us was to make money. They recommended cutting off a growth on my 2 year old dogs head for $900. Took him to my old vet they poked it with a needle and said it'll go away on its own.

I had a wonderful experience with the Cranford Animal Hospital. During these challenging COVID-19 times, they were able to accommodate my French Bulldog. From the minute I called to schedule an appointment I was greeted with care and concern by Francisco. When I arrived the ladies that collected my paperwork were kind and professional. My dog… got to meet with Dr. Lauren Rodriguez. Dr. Rodriguez was able to call me on the phone while I waited outside for my dog. She was thorough, knowledgeable and gave my pet care as if she were her own. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

We moved to town last year and wanted to find a local vet with good hours, so we gave Cranford animal hospital a chance and we are very happy! We always see Dr. Nazar when we go in and I love that he takes the time to answer all of my questions. I never feel rushed, and it's always a pleasant visit. We were just there a few days ago for a check up and some vaccine updates and they are taking the necessary precautions to still take care of our dog in the safest way possible. Came in for the first time as a walk-in for a concern with our dog. I waited less than 20-minutes before being seen by the doctor. She had such a great bedside manner and put us at ease with her gentle approach. I didn't find it to be more expensive than other vets I have visited and for the quality of care I found the price to be quite reasonable. So happy to have found a great vet nearby!

My pet is like my child. It takes a lot for me to trust anyone with her and I can truly say that this vet has my 100% trust. Such a caring and intelligent staff. I never once felt like they were just trying to take my money. Although, they are on the pricier side; I am a strong believer in "you get what you pay for".

The care provided to my 3 (Wilson, Cooper and Sidney) is always excellent. Dr. Nazar takes the time to explain all procedures and answers all questions. Concerns are addressed and I feel like my fur family is well cared for. I never feel rushed or uneducated. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I have been coming here since they took over from Dr. Zimmerman and the transition was smooth. A perfect fit for Cranford. I can alway have my babies seen. Highly recommend the group.

We adopted a new puppy and needed a vet. I googled and found Cranford Vet and figured I would give it a try. I am so glad I did, the staff is wonderful, being new dog parents, we had lots of questions, and I never felt like they rushed me thought my questions were silly. So happy with their hours, how clean it is, and how friendly they all are. The best part is my puppy loves them all there

Took my parents dog Cookie there yesterday and was very satisfied with them! They're super nice and the vet is hilarious. They know what they're talking about and explain everything in detail. I had no wait time and after the examination they come to you with an action plan and allowed me to review with my mom on what exams we wanted to pursue. I really appreciate that they aren't pushy as well as we've gone to other vets that are too much. This will definitely be our new vet for cookie!

Saw Dr. Navar for our 2 cats. He was very thorough with his checkup and explained everything as he was checking.
He also explained everything about the skin condition we brought our cats in for. Dr. Navar explained all of our treatment/test options and allowed us to decide what to do without being pushy or using guilt.
Prices were as expected- not very expensive (but not inexpensive).
Positive experience for sure. We just moved to the area & this is definitely our new vet. Staff was also very friendly & helpful.
